Fast neck. Great player. This is from the SB (Super Bass) range (77-83) though you would be hard pressed to know it from the overall condition. Other than the wear in the finish (you can see it in the pic) the bass is close to immaculate. "Bat Wing" headstock
I bought it with a gig bag & thats all I have . It was shipped to me that way . In a soft case in a guitar box stuffed with lots of cardboard & it was fine .

I completely disassembled, cleaned, lubed?? every part of this amazing 1984 Matsumoku Aria pro ii medium scale bass. The Alder body was stripped down to virgin wood, sealed and I did a sunburst finish with Belhem lacquer toners followed by satin nitrocellulose lacquer. Frets leveled, dressed and buffed to a jewelry shine. Rosewood fretboard cleaned and oiled

here we have a very rare Tanara P / J Bass WYSI model, made in Japan around the mid to late 80s
these early MIJ Tanaras are very hard to come by and were manufactured in the early stages of the brand by Matsumoku
condition is really clean for the age and has been looked after very well, no electronic issues, truss rod has been confirmed to turn though a bit jumpy and the neck is straight, bridge screws are a bit seized but can be fixed with DP60

Der Bass wurde nach meiner Recherche höchstwahrscheinlich im Matsumoku-Werk hergestellt, bevor sie dort für Ibanez, Greco, Aria etc. Instrumente produziert haben. Oft haben diese Modelle dann Logos verschiedener Marken wie zB. "Luxor" erhalten.
Die Qualität sprich ebenfalls dafür. Der Bass lässt sich super spielen, hat einen 38mm breiten Sattel und einen schmalen Hals. Die Bünde sind auch super erhalten. Etwas Bundrasseln ist beim Spiel mit den Fingern zu vernehmen, nicht jedoch beim ... more
