I completely disassembled, cleaned, lubed?? every part of this amazing 1984 Matsumoku Aria pro ii medium scale bass. The Alder body was stripped down to virgin wood, sealed and I did a sunburst finish with Belhem lacquer toners followed by satin nitrocellulose lacquer. Frets leveled, dressed and buffed to a jewelry shine. Rosewood fretboard cleaned and oiled

The fine item you are considering is a vintage Epiphone EA-260 Bass guitar. This guitar looks solid but does have issues that will need to be addressed. The main thing is the very high action. There's some adjustment left in the bridge, but I'm not sure why the action is so high. No belly lift and the neck seems to be firmly in the pocket. Fast neck. Great player. This is from the SB (Super Bass) range (77-83) though you would be hard pressed to know it from the overall condition. Other than the wear in the finish (you can see it in the pic) the bass is close to immaculate. "Bat Wing" headstock
I bought it with a gig bag & thats all I have . It was shipped to me that way . In a soft case in a guitar box stuffed with lots of cardboard & it was fine .

Very nice Japanese made vintage electric guitar, Matsumoku factory, 1984 sorta time. Been competently stained and refinished at some point a fairly long time ago, and worn in subsequently. Stock MMK pickups with coil splits on the toggles. Fingerboard freshly oiled, frets freshly polished, takes a low action great. Current amp demo guitar, probably be sorry to see it go, but I'm a bass player

It is exactly like the Epiphone EA-260 bass, except this one has a single pickup instead of the mini humbuckers used on the Epiphone. It is in beautiful condition, only a couple of very small cosmetic details can be seen around the body (see last couple pictures) , but it is virtually in mint condition. All frets, fretboard, neck, body, and parts in impressive condition despite being built over 50 years ago. The only bad thing is the bridge cover: it is not original, but a very similar one

This bass is gorgeous, with a lovely 60s tone, and in truly excellent condition for an instrument around 55 years old - I had great fun gigging it in my covers band and it never let me down once.
