I purchased this from ?the Vox man?? in Norwich in the early 1990s and have used it in all the bands I have played in since then. I sourced a pair of these from Ireland a few weeks ago, where they'd been in a tech's collection for decades. Has had new power amp tubes and recently checked over
All original inside (new tubes, large capacitors and a few out of spec resisitors replaced)
46 years old, so it does have some patches of wear to the black covering, most if which has been repaired. There are some holes in the grill covering material

In good shape, grey panel, top boost model, recently had all electrolytic caps changed with sprague atom and f&t capacitors. Checked over throughout and running great.
Original Silver Alnico Speakers with original cones, also sounding fantastic and worth a ton just by themselves!
The amp is working perfectly (Which isn??t easy to achieve with old vox??s). It??s got a brand new set of tubes, original footswitch etc.

Pair of Vox T530 blue speakers both dating to 1963

Both speakers have tears to the cones which I have photographed in close up and will require a repair or recone which I don??t have the skills or time to do

Otherwise both speakers are in amazing condition for their age. Considering they are 62 years old that would be the time difference between the end of the First World War and Hendrix at the Isle of Wight?? .

Could this be the craziest Vox AC30 from the 1960s!? I found this beauty with the wife of the original owner - let's call him 'The Butcher'.
