For sale / auction is an original 1966 VOX BERKELEY 2 SUPER TWIN REVERB all tube amplifier. it has the original 2 10" VOX BULLDOG speakers which are in great condition. I have just had the head serviced by FUCHS AUDIO TECHNOLOGY so its really sounding sweet. I have kept the replaced parts in case you want them. Here we have an iconic Vox AC100 head! This one is serial 424 on the backplate, a grey panel mid-1965 build. It has EL34 power tubes with one channel, dual inputs, and volume / treble / bass controls. This one is in very good shape and has seen some maintenance over the years internally. It has a US 3-prong power cable. The exterior shows light wear and there is some patina on the control plate. It functions well though and has a classic tone!

Here we have a vintage 1964 Vox ACX30! This is a copper panel, 6 input Bass variant that is in very good condition overall. It's loaded with dual Celestion blue 12" speakers with an EL84 power section putting out 30 watts. It has Vib-Trem, Normal and Brilliant channels, each with dual inputs. The year of manufacture is 1964.
I bought the amp in the ?90s as acollector and I did not use it for gigs. The overall cosmetic condition isvery good and the vinyl is not worn. The grill cloth is periodcorrect but may have been replaced as it doesn't sag. There is a smallwear spot near the top of the cloth. This is a wonderful Vox AC30 amplifier from 1972, with the incredible Celestion G12 T2056 speakers inside. For sale: 1964 Vox AC30 combo. This is the grey panelled T version (treble not Top-boost) with the six controls instead of eight. I purchased this from ?the Vox man?? in Norwich in the early 1990s and have used it in all the bands I have played in since then. As the pictures show, it has been used and giggled a lot, but this also means it has been looked after to play and sound as good as it can, in complete working order. I can't see a serial number but I believe these were made in the late 70s- early 80s in England. It is 50 watts. I have barely used it for the past 20 years.
It has some battle scars, unfortunately the front cloth cover has a hole. There is a bit of crackle when adjusting the master volume knob. I used some contact cleaner which helped a bit but the pots might need more of a clean to remove all audible crackle. Other than that is it working well and sounds great for a ... more
