I am selling a 1962 Ibanez 1901 4 string short scale electric bass guitar. This has a real baseball bat neck! Super thick neck!
Except for the disintegrated pickguard needing replaced as well as the control pots and jack, this bass guitar is in a very good condition, cosmetic wise.
Selling as a repair project because of the pickguard repair needed, plus setup work at the least and possible neck straightening at the most. I've got a case for it (somewhere).

Fully original with all original saddles, springs and screws. Very minor wear to the chrome finish, mostly on the saddles. These are very popular swap upgrades for vintage Jaguars and Jazzmasters as the strings set more firmly in these saddles than the multi-notched saddles of the JM and Jag Bridges. Very nice unit!

1962 Höfner Verithin with Bigsby. Serial No: 1058. I've just had this guitar at a local guitar shop where it had both pick-ups sorted, and a new volume pot and strings fitted. It has been fully checked over and in perfect working order. Being over 60 year old this guitar does show it's age with a nice vintage used look. Here is a very scarce Fender FujiGen built Charcoal Burst '57 RI Stratocaster. This charcoal burst strat was part of a very limited 1988 run at Fender??s legendary FujiGen plant before the current relicing obsession kicked off. It is an MIJ E-Serial with a pencil date of 7 2.88 on the neck heel. No catalogue entry exists for this model and we have never come across one before now. It??s an awesome strat too. This is one of those rare and cool-looking guitars that would fit on any collection. Also the neck is pretty thin for a vintage guitar and straight so it??s also playable.
Everything works as intended.
It??s all original, except the volume and tone knobs, which are 60??s Watkins knobs, to keep the vintage feel and aesthetics.
Also, I can tell a couple of tuning peg screws were replaced, but still it tunes and works well.... more
