I have owned this guitar for a long time and have loved it. I am piecing together a perfect Jazzmaster for me so I am selling this. I have tried to take good pictures. This guitar has been used but never abused. There are a few scratches and rub marks but besides one little chip in the bottom right all of them are surface level and maybe even could be buffed out if you cared. 1962 Fender Jaguar. The short story on this guy is as follows. Refinished body, then stripped to natural with a clear coat. Overspray on back of the neck. Rewound bridge pickup. The receiver for the tremolo bar is from an AVRI unit. The rest of the tremolo is original. Recently refretted with vintage style wire and freshly set up. How cool is this? So cool! Up for sale is a 1962 Supro Kingston White Res-o-Glass. Single pickup, Supro branded pickguard, build in Chicago by Valco. Overall in excellent condition with a straight neck and great playability. There are faint signs of seperation on the back of the body with the back and side meet. I had originally bought this as it was listed as a 1962 Fender Princeton output transformer, but after sending it to Mercury Magnetics for testing I received this news:
" The EIA code underneath is 606-243. 606 is the right EIA code for Schumacher, and 243 means it was made in the 43rd week of 1962
We did test it for you to see if it??s possible that Fender used another OT model for this amp
It does work, but the output tap is 16 ohms, not the 8 ohms it is supposed to be. So this ... more

Here we have a very clean, all original, one owner, 1962 PAF ES 335. This guitar has more of a medium neck profile than the usual thinner necks from this era. Highly figured top and back is beautiful on this one. The color is also as good as they come. The chassis code is "BP01170" which dates it to early 1962. All of the pots date to 1961 (304-6113 to 6134), the output transformer is from June 1961 (606-1-25) and the original Oxford speakers are from July 1961 (465-131). The only odd thing is there is a date stamp on the back from October 1965 and the power transformer may be from 1965 (just has "6516" on the back and no other markings). Part of a small collection I'm selling to make room for grandchildren, it's one of the last ones (if not the last one) made according to the Hof serial number site) and it's certainly the nicest I've seen: no neck or any issues, low action, loud pickup, very playable which is unusual for old Hofs. * 1 foot on side is missing
* both latches have dead springs
* leather on handle is clean

1962 5 watt valve guitar amp
Perfect working order, no untoward issues. Lovely little amp.
Bad points are
1) lots of marks and wear from age.
2) There is an extra Master power switch and power bulb on the control panel, but these are not wired up to anything. I don't 'think' these were factory issue, so most likely explanation is the previous owner installed them but never actually wired them up.

For sale a 1962 vintage Framus Sorella jazz guitar in black rose burst finish with a frequensator tailpiece. All original and in good condition with no breaks or cracks. The pickguard is missing and there are a few light scuffs and marks, however nothing major just the playwear and patina that one would expect from an instrument of this age. Comes with new flatwound strings

He was a high end Gibson gold top seller / collector and claimed to have an original Stradivarius violin

Japanese made around 1962, this MJ-2 was one of the earlier models with a non-tremolo bridge and larger headstock, meaning you get a lot more tuning stability than the later models with the wobbly tremolo system. Solid mahogany body with a chunky V profile neck and a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length), it weighs just 2 5kg's.... more
