Plays great but action is a little high beyond the 12th fret. Never bothered me much because I play finger style and slide. The saddle is as low as it can go and has a little wear (see pic). Doesn??t affect the playability.

The white residue in the pic on the lower bout of the guitar is masking tape. I bought it from a traveling musician and I tried to peel it off but was left with that. I didn??t want to use any solvents to remove it and risking damaging the finish

This is a beautiful guitar. It was played professionally from 1970 until late 80's. It still has a great tone. It is very easy to finger for a 12-string guitar. This is a beautiful Relic'ed Mario Martin S-Style that's an absolute joy to play. It's an early-50s "Mary Kaye" style build, with a beautifully-grained swamp ash body, super thin white blonde finish, and a killer medium to heavy relic job. Well-played guitar, but structurally very stable
This is the consequence of nice acoustic sound, it would have some battle scars.

Has a tiny crack about two inches just below the pickguard

Had a neck reset already and the bridge might have been shaven in the past too, before it had a neck reset

Many years ago, there was a gibson pickguard stuck to this at one point of its life and bolted the bridge which has been professionally fixed now

A 1975 Martin D28, serial number 359244, with Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck with dot inlaid ebony fretboard, fitted with Grover tuners, original Martin moulded plush lined case.
