serial no 2847, spruce top & Birdseye maple back & sides; fitted with original De -Armond 1000 pickup; has had an old neck repair- completely stable with good action all along the ebony fretboard

1959 Hofner committee Electric Guitar . Is in fairly good condition for
for it age but is showing some signs of wear mainly on front of the body where the finish has worn off by palm, fingers and picks. The pick guard is missing which left two small screw holes in the bottom rim .There is laquer checking and some nicks marks as you would expect on a 63 year old instrument and one small ding on the neck which I have tried to show in the photos. For 60 years of age it is in remarkable condition. There are some scratches, in fact quite a few all around the body. Cosmetic and with the nicely darkened laquer they give the instrnent this wonderfull patina. Around the side srew of the pick guard is a little touched up area and on the backside bottom edge where the ornamentel inlay ends is a tiny patch of dopped out laquer. In very good vintage condition with the original case. Very nice playing condition. No buzzes. All original. Small glue splodge on the pickguard. Can probably be removed. (See photos)

I have listed this as not working since it's clearly a project guitar but I have plugged it in and all electrics work as they should. This would make an ideal restoration project or just attach the Bigsby and away you go - a players grade guitar. It comes with an original case though a bit tatty but does the job.
