This Used 1956 Martin 000-18 Acoustic Guitar in Natural is here on consignment. Moisture appears to have infiltrated the finish on the headstock, which has caused the finish to lift. This is a vintage 1954 Fender 5D3 Tweed Deluxe that came right before the 5E3 iteration. And yes, it still retains its original canvas cover from Victoria Luggage Company in Los Angeles, California. Therefore, this iteration of the deluxe features a lot of the same highly sought after tonal shapes and historic overdriven sag as the 5E3. It's in decent shape, well-worn knurling and cool patina that looks like crazing in the chrome. The hole has been drilled out, probably because the original screw was frozen. Gibbon ES - 125. * I believe this is a 1956 because of the number V5 029 - 27 which is visible in the lower f hole. However, you will need to verify this for yourself because I am not an expert. Lots of lacquer checking, patina, scratches and general all around mo-jo as this is a 70 year old guitar. However, there is no evidence of any repairs to the neck or body. Early Hofner Serial number: 3280.

No fret wear, barely been played.
