The low E buzzes against the surface of the pickup on the last / highest fret. Here we have a vintage Fender Harvard Tweed amplifier! This one is from 1956 and is in nice shape overall and good functioning order. It has 6V6 power tubes, a 10" Jensen speaker and puts out about 10 watts. The control panel features three inputs plus volume & tone controls. Minor scuffs and paint cracking due to time. Unfortunately the tuning pegs crumbled and broke off. It was inevitable, they were extremely sensitive from aging and they fell apart at the slightest touch as well as being bumped from travel. Headstock has some grooves in the side. Other than that is in good condition.

This Used 1956 Martin 000-18 Acoustic Guitar in Natural is here on consignment. Moisture appears to have infiltrated the finish on the headstock, which has caused the finish to lift. Make sure to check out the pics. The rest of the guitar is free from this kind of wear. I have a great 1956 TB-100 conversion for sale. The pot and new neck are in excellent shape. The neck was made by Tim Davis. I also had Tim cut the rim and fit a Sloan flathead tone ring. The neck has stainless steel fretwire so you'll never need a refret. I installed a set of Hoppers D-tuners. I had Danny make the tuners a bit longer so they stick out underneath the regular tuning pegs so it's easy to access while playing. Here we have a vintage 1956 Fender Champ tube amplifier! This 5F1 circuit amp has a narrow panel and sports a 6" speaker. The original speaker was torn and subsequently taped long ago, but it has torn more. A new Jensen replacement speaker is now in the amp, but the original is included. I head out into the world looking for guitars, I never know what I might find. This modest tenor banjo came my way recently and it was a surprise how clean it was!
1. The tuner buttons were missing. In preparation for the button replacement (which is a special skill), I cleaned and oiled the tuners. Note: The only real markings on this instrument to help date it, was the underside of these Single Line Kluson Deluxe tuners. Pat. Appld. on a Single line suggests 1956-1958.

For its age, this guitar looks, sounds, and plays beautifully. There is some aging to the finish, which you can see from the photos. But it is fully functional with no structural issues. A lot of work had to be done on this 70-year-old guitar:
- The headstock was broken at some point, now it is fixed. I applied a lot of stress tests, it is very sturdy

1956 Gretsch 6189 StreamlinerIn very good condition. The original bridge has been swapped out for a rosewood one. There is some damage to the finish around the neck join which has separated very slightly but the neck doesn't appear to have been off at any point. A rare Gibson model, produced briefly only from 1955-59 and being replaced by the very similar ES-125TC

This started life as a single pickup model, which had been historically routed out for a second pickup in the middle position (why, I do not know)
