1959 Fender Bassman 5F6-A Amplifier
This vintage Bassman has the original tweed covering, grill cloth and all of the main components are original. Only some of the capacitors have been changed. The code on the tube chart has worn off but the Chassis Code is "BM02387" which dates it to 1959. See photos for the rest of the stamps and markings. Yes, these are from a 1959 Fender Precision Bass and are correct for basses from 1957 thru 1962. You can tell because they have the very fine knurling around the outer edges. This is a great set with nice, even wear and aging consistent for the period. These ferrules can be considered correct for any pre-CBS Fender bass. 1959 Silvertone Model 1431 Combo Amplifier - Working - Read
Amp is in great shape, its volume knob is a little dirty and needs a clean. Its gets that crackling when you turn it sometimes, im not great at fixing vintage electronics so im not going to mess with it but when this used to happen to my tour amp i would just clean the knobs out and it would be fine. I've had this guitar for ~ 8yrs, I played it regularly in the first year, and hardly at all since, it hasn't been played for at least 3 yrs. It's been sat in its hardcase without strings

A1959 Gibson Les Paul Special TV yellow. It??s had the common heel / body breakrepaired long ago. There is an area refinished around the area of the repair.
Thepots have been changed two are 1970, one is 1997 and the other's code iscovered by solder the 'bumble bee' capacitors are original.
Pickups, Frets, Knobs, Pickguard, Jack Plate, Truss rod cover, Switch, tuner bushingsand strap buttons are all original

1959 Hofner committee Electric Guitar . Is in fairly good condition for
for it age but is showing some signs of wear mainly on front of the body where the finish has worn off by palm, fingers and picks. The pick guard is missing which left two small screw holes in the bottom rim .There is laquer checking and some nicks marks as you would expect on a 63 year old instrument and one small ding on the neck which I have tried to show in the photos. Excellent and very rare vintage books on guitar playing, both from 1959.
Full of great lessons, very interesting and informative. They are complete, well used and clean inside. Aged covers and a couple of student marks, but very good for 65 years of age.
An excellent learning tool, and a great accompaniment to your 1950s guitars. Pop one in the case with a 1959 Strat, Les Paul or other guitar. The Strat on the cover would be a nice find under the bed!

For sale is my Gibson Les Paul Standard 2014 120th anniversary edition in desert burst. Case is signed by Blackstone Cherry (line up as of 2017 )

For 60 years of age it is in remarkable condition. There are some scratches, in fact quite a few all around the body. Cosmetic and with the nicely darkened laquer they give the instrnent this wonderfull patina. Around the side srew of the pick guard is a little touched up area and on the backside bottom edge where the ornamentel inlay ends is a tiny patch of dopped out laquer.
