This is a vintage 1958 Epiphone Texan sold to me by the original owner. I had a top crack caused by pickguard shrinkage repaired. This guitar plays great and sounds lovely with some really nice harmonic content. Up for sale is a 1966 Epiphone Texan FT-79N in its original natural finish. This guitar has been beat to within an inch of its life, and truly sounds fantastic! Factory heel stinger too! 1 9 / 16th nut width, Kluson double line tuners, original E pickguard. Lots of repaired / some not repaired top cracks, bridge has been re-glued and has two additional screws installed. The guitar has been refretted and areas of the fingerboard have been filled in. This Epiphone FT-145 Texan sounds as wonderful as it looks. It has a few dings, but is in excellent condition for its age. Made by the legendary Matsumoku factory in Japan, it was built in 1973.
This is an extremely well-made guitar. It has a natural spruce top, mahogany rims and back, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, an adjustable bridge, and chrome-plated hardware
Of special note: It has a heel-less bolt-on neck, so if it ever needs a neck reset, you can do it yourself!

This Epiphone Masterbilt Texan Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar is used with "used" stamped on the back of the headstock. It is in excellent condition although it does show a repaired center seam crack on the top (see pictures). Vintage 1970's Epiphone FT-145 SB Texan.
Very well played showing lots of wear and tear but still plays well and sounds fantastic with good tone, plenty of volume and low end.
Stress crack to headstock but no movement and tuning stays solid, appears to have been like this for a very long time. Comes with a hard case.

On offer is a vintage early 1970's Japan-import Epiphone Dreadnaught Acoustic FT-145 Texan guitar project. The Serial # is a six digit sequence and is '440586'. The exact dating of Japanese Epiphones is somewhat uncertain but this guitar has the early Blue label inside the soundhole as described in the following extract, with 'Made in Japan' printed on the label, indicating the guitar was made between 1972 and 1975
