This 1975 Gibson Byrdland has an ebony bridge saddle replacing the original tune-o-matic and no longer has its original pickguard due to off-gassing, but is otherwise in original condition with original ebony bridge base, tailpiece, truss rod cover, tuners, and all orginal electronics, including the original patent decal T-top humbuckers. This is a 1954 Gibson rosewood bridge base. It came from a 1954 es-150 (but is correct for many models of the era). It is very clean and structurally perfect. Really a nicely figured Brazilian rosewood, with very good original saddle and the original brass inserts (which are often missing!). This is the solid foot type that was in use in the 50's through 1957

This is a vintage 1950's to early 60's Gibson rosewood bridge base. It is very clean and structurally perfect. Really a nice dark Brazilian rosewood. I see some tape residue on the bottom that could easily be sanded off, but otherwise it is perfect condition! Great example with the desirable 2-foot geometry we have come to love from 1957 to 1964

It's all original with the exception of the pickguard, switch tip, the upper strap button and one of the plastic pickup surrounds. The original hardshell case is included. This is a beautiful Gibson Byrdland from 1974, with its famously short scale length of 23 5 inches and rather shallow body that make it for many a more comfortable alternative to a Gibson L5 or Super 400, while sharing most of their specs and class. Though I??m sure if you??re reading this post, you know all of that already.
