Okay. This is my Frankenstein bass. Everyone has one. I swapped out the Vox neck for a fretless neck I purchased online. It required some finesse on my luthier's part to pull it together. Sadly, the decorations and artwork are mine

Sometime in it's past the effects array was disconnected. Currently the bass has volume and tone controls only. I do NOT know the condition of the effects controls

This is an original 1960s Italian Vox (EME) wiring loom for the teardrop-shaped Stinger bass. The components included are three Italian Lesa potentiometers (2 x 100k, 1 x 500k), output jack, three-way switch and two Arco brand capacitors 0 047 and 0 10. In good working order. The pots are held in place by two metal spacer bars soldered onto their backs. One has come unsoldered, but otherwise all in good original condition.... view on ebay

Ideal project guitar. Paint is original cellulose in great condition, as is the neck and frets. Only major problem is where someone has fitted a through body jack. For Sale Vox Clubman Short Scale Bass Guitar Vintage 60??S JMI Made in England. The 30" scale, twenty fret neck was ~ 1??" wide at the nut and had a zero fret and four individual open gear tuners. No truss adjustment was provided, the neck was reinforced with a steel rod. VOX White Shadow unlined fretless bass . 1984-86
Sen wood body, used a lot in the70s and 80s by Japanese makers , similar look to Ash and a sound more like Alder
