Up for sale is a 1965 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar. This guitar is in fair to good condition. It does show normal signs of age and use, including scratches, dents and dings. The finish on this guitar is crackling, over most of the guitar. There are small holes on the front of the body where I suspect the pick guard use to be. The tuners have also been changed out, and the original tuner holes are exposed. There are no cracks to the body or necks. There is light fret wear.

Incredible sounding and playing kalamazoo kg-14 that has been completely gone through by my luthier!

So the big news on this one is there is a crack on the headstock. I had it strung up with some medium gauge acoustic strings and it never seemed to bother it at all but the crack flexes a little bit when torqued upon. I have not screwed it down or glued it which would likely help. The truss rod I imagine is holding it in tighter then it would be if there was not a truss rod and I assume there is a truss rod because there is a truss rod plastic cover although I have not removed it. Extremely rare 1978 Gibson mk81. Based on the serial number I'm pretty sure 1978 is the correct year . this guitar had a very limited number produced and you don't see them too often. This is a 1958 Gibson J-45 in good condition. The factory order number inside the soundhole on the neck block begins with a 'T' which translates to 1958, as seen in the close-up picture. There are a couple of 'E' string cracks near the pick guard that have been repaired and properly cleated. The original finish has had a thin coat of overspray applied many years ago on the top area around the bridge and pickguard, and some touch-up paint around the sound hole. Over the years... more

Up for sale is an all orignal Gibson Made Kalamazoo vintage acoustic guitar
As you are probably aware this model is quiet soughtafter especially since tommy emmanuel praised the tone of this model - single line runs sound great .
As you can see from the photo the guitar does show signs of wear as you expect on a 100 year old guitar with lots of scuffs and scratches .
