There are no cracks anywhere and is all original save the tuners which are Stewmac "Golden Age" tuners. (It previously had 70's Waverly's that were installed upside down )

Overall, the condition is good. Some checking on the top. Light marks on the body and sides. No serial number on the back of the headstock (not sure on the story as to why). I believe this guitar is a 1976 but not 100%. Some wear on the front and back of the headstock. Light fret wear

Extremely rare 1978 Gibson mk81. Based on the serial number I'm pretty sure 1978 is the correct year . this guitar had a very limited number produced and you don't see them too often. This is a 1938 Gibson L-50 with F-holes and a dark Sunburst finish. This archtop acoustic has a carved spruce top with laminate maple back and sides. It has a changed tailpiece and possibly its bridge. It has some sealed cracks on its top and a cleated crack on its back that looks like it was done well over 50 years ago.
