Vintage 1930s Kalamazoo KG-31 archtop acoustic guitar made by Gibson. This 1930s KG-31 has a bound neck and a bound pickguard and is 100% original. The old Kluson tuners work pretty well considering their age; the D an G string tuner knob shafts are bent. The Brazilian rosewood bridge is set as low as it will go. This is a beautiful thinline hollow body guitar and the black pickguard / housing is not cracked which is rare in this model I do not know if the case is original or not. It took a bit of digging to find the serial numbered date (a complicated system of numbering evolution), the result is "made in Kalamazoo in 1950"

Up for sale is a beautiful 1968 Gibson J-45 (#309928), a true vintage classic with all the character and warmth you??d expect from this era.
