This is a cool vintage instrument. We just put fresh strings on it. Sounds and plays so good! Straight neck. Fully functional. Made in Italy. It has electronics. The jack has something a little off in that if you jiggle the cord sometimes the sound will cut in and out. It could be the tip needs pressed in more. Simple fix. Sounds good as an acoustic. This guitar has some dings and scratches over the years giving it character, but nothing major. Someone will love this blast from the past!

Eko Ranger 12 String Acoustic Guitar - Playable But Needs TLC
Here is my Eko Ranger 12 String. The label doesn't mention the year, though these guitars mostly seem to be from 1960's / 1970's - it doesn't have a scratch plate and the label says it's Italian made, so maybe that gives some clue?

this is a vintage Eko Ranger 12 string guitar from the 70s, unsure of specific year, fitted with sound hole pickup and volume and tone knobs

acoustically its Very loud and jangly due to its big body and plugged in you can get some nice warm tones too

the action can be adjusted by screws on the bridge and at the moment is set up nice and low which makes the guitar very playable

as you can see the guitar is missing the original pick guard

Here we have a great condition 1969 eko ranger acoustic guitar
You just don't get guitars like these any more as the trees used to make them are not allowed to be cut down
Only with guitars made of the correct woods and aged and seasoned can you get that wonderful tone
This one in particular is in excellent condition for the age of 55 years, it does have a crack across the bridge (shown in photo) which has not moved or changed in the 18 years that I've owned it

Eko Ranger XII VR 12 string guitar. Very good condition, bought for £320 two years ago new and hardly used. The guitar has a great sound, the only reason I am selling it is because I have not got the time to play it at the moment
The only issue with it is that the pick guard has started to come away a tiny bit (pictured in the last picture)

Eko Ranger 6 original acoustic guitar
So I bought this around 17 years ago as my dad had the same one which I learnt on as a child
My dad has now downsized his collection and given me his Ranger, so this (as it has sat as part of a few that I own) is now surplus
It clearly isn't visually in the best of condition, but plays fine (may benefit from new strings). I don't really play guitar anymore but have kept my small collection for whenever I get the time to pick it back up ... more

eko ranger 12 from the 70shas had a neck break but been repaired professionally, saddle has been replaced however bridge lifts up slightly, although doesn??t affect playing. nice 3 piece neck with i think spruce top and rosewood fretboard. electro acoustic model, previous owner added a different pickup to it which resulted in holes in the top for knobs, i??ve added non functioning pots to the top to get rid of them, however these can be removed. currently has a piezo system in it which ... more

Lovely Eko ranger 6 string acoustic guitar for sale. I bought it with a headstock repair where it has been dropped so please look in the pictures to see all the damage cased by this, there is a crack in the body right next to where the neck mounts, a crack right at the headstock and also 2 very small ones on the body right next to the neck. A vintage EKO Ranger 12 string guitar; looks to be a 1970s version but no exact date present
The overall construction of the guitar is in solid condition but it does require TLC. There are cracks to the lacquer at the headstock and more significant areas of damage around the edges of the body. The saddle is warped and would need replacing along with a more comprehensive setup. There is light rusting to many of the metal parts, including the tuning pegs. This is a late 60's Ranger 12 with the white sci-fi 'bubble' logo and scroll label, serial number approximates the guitar to 1968
This is one of the best pieces around with no lacquer cracks or usual issues seen with 99% of these
At nearly 60 its a great piece!
Nice low action and ships with a good quality slightly later premium case with alloy trim

Here we have a truly rare early pre-ranger Eko J56, of the first edition design circa 1965
This stager sports the unusual and rather tasty looking birdseye maple back and sides, contrasted with the gloss black neck, looks amazing!

This EKO is in great shape. It has a laminate Spruce top with Mahogany sides and rosewood fretboard. Bolt on neck is in superb condition and the beauty with this is, it allows you to adjust the neck to an action that's just right for you. This is a nice example for its age the body is good no damage apart from light scratches, all the winders are good nothing missing, The back of the neck has some light Hair lines marks in the varnish there does not seem the effect the neck, but may need some attention
