This vintage acoustic bass was made in the USA in the 1980's. Very large body projects a deep tone. The pickup has a bass, treble, and volume control. The amplified sound is big, you can hear the acoustic air. For a vintage instrument, I'd rate the condition as good. No cracks in the solid spruce top (not laminated). no fret wear. 3+- inches of the binding is loose. The case is in good condition.... more

Burnside by Guild was Guild's import line. I've read that this line was manufactured by Cort in Korea. The Crossbow is a headless bass with a fixed neck and active electronics. It's a really nice vintage 80s bass (There were some wild designs in the 80s). The body of this bass has been modified slightly. When I got it years ago, one of the bottom horns had been chipped off.
