I stumbled across this guitar recently, while out looking for guitars. In retrospect, I may have overpaid a little, given it has been modified from original.
Here are my observations after cleaning and playing it for a bit
1. Serial Number S814740 - Indicates 1978. Guitar is relatively heavy (typical of CBS era) 8lb 9oz
2. Neck is in VERY good condition. The finish on the neck is near perfect, fret wires show almost no wear

This is an original 1978 Fender Jazz Bass with some early 1980's modifications. I have owned the bass since 1981 and had the modifications done in 1983. 1978 Fender Telecaster Custom. I have replaced the bridge pickup with a lollar 52 , as the original stopped working. I was advised it needed re winding, but it's included with the guitar. I also replaced the bridge and control knobs (originals are fine, I just prefer the look of the 3 saddle bridge and the knobs I put on), and also still have all the original parts which are included. 1978 Marshall JTM 1960A 4x12 Angled Speaker Cabinet with castors. (Originally a JMP cabinet)
Recovered by Marshall in 2001 in the JTM tolex and grill cloth with original parts and never used since. (Original receipt included).
JTM series was a very short run in 1995 until 1997 until the JCM 600 series was released.
The back plate wasn't 100% finished, it needs the screws and speaker input installing (all included)

Greco Les Paul made in November 1978 at the FujiGen factory in Japan. Pickups are the original Maxon prototype pickups made on Halloween 1978. This guitar has loads of mojo and sounds like an old school Les Paul should, with plenty of bark and bite.
The bridge volume control could do with a little TLC but other than that this guitar is in perfect working condition, with the odd blemish and buckle rash you??d expect from a near 50-year old guitar.

Japanese made in 1978, the FST-70 was the a mid-tier model from Fernandes. Glossy Vintage White finish on what's likely an alder body with a medium profile one-piece maple neck, it weighs 3 5kg's. This one appears to have the original alnico pickups with just a replacement volume knob and replacement string trees. The previous owner removed the headstock logo however the neck stamps are all still in there to help us ID it.... more

This is a Vintage 1978 Made in Japan Westminster LP style Guitar manufactured in the Matsumoku Factory the same factory as the Greco, Aria11 ,Ibanez and Fernandes guitars of the era .

Made in Japan (Fujigen) in 1978, the GO series were aimed at competing with the Ibanez Musician models that were starting to surface in Western markets. This appears to be a custom order GO-1200 with some non-factory specs and is very clearly a high end offering from Greco that showcased the quality that the Fujigen factory were able to produce.

Made by the Matsumoku factory in 1978, this is a rare Left Handed model of the mid-range SE-600 Stratocaster from Aria Pro II. Glossy black body with a slim C maple neck (7 25" radius, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3 6kg's. The SE-600 was a late 70's style model with a bullet truss, 4-bolt neck plate and black pickguard.
