I bought this new with the original excellent Guild case. Over the years this top of the line guitar was not used very much. I played it mostly when my son was a baby and young child. Extremely rare 1978 Gibson mk81. Based on the serial number I'm pretty sure 1978 is the correct year . this guitar had a very limited number produced and you don't see them too often. Almost never in fact. This particular guitar is in great shape compared to others  I've seen. There is a few dings on it. Some of the binding is lifting but not too bad. This is a 1978 Fender fretless Precision bass. Light weight Alder body in Walnut finish (I also see this color called Mocha) with Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Bass has nicks / dings / scratches and a extra screw hole near the thumb rest but overall it is still in very good cosmetic condition. This is quite a unique amp which has been lost to history. Information is a little hard to find, but what I have found on it has been very positive.

Firstly, for 100W it is incredibly loud! And despite its age it is also very clean sounding, even compared to some modern amplifiers.

All functional and very solid, two volume and tone controls, no clever stuff. I was told it was a 1978 model when I bought it and have done nothing to verify that.
Frets are too good to be original. The ebony fretboard seems really well preserved too

In amazing condition for a nearly 50 year old guitar.
A total chicken picken machine.
All original parts.
Has a small crack on the heel of the neck that has been professionally repaired and a re-fret at some point.
Otherwise would be a 5 grand guitar if it didn??t have the crack. ( see picture )
None the less , it sounds fantastic.

Fender Precision, olympic white, made in USA 1978. If you're going to buy a P, why not do it properly, right? This creamy character has seen a few things over the decades, but it's aged pretty gracefully overall. The neck is on the fat side, but it balances nicely against the lightweight body and sits in the hand nicely. It's halfway between a C and a V profile, which sounds odd, but feels great in the hands.
