This is a 1954 Gibson rosewood bridge base. It came from a 1954 es-150 (but is correct for many models of the era). It is very clean and structurally perfect. Really a nicely figured Brazilian rosewood, with very good original saddle and the original brass inserts (which are often missing!). This is a rare Earth Sound Research guitar amp from about 1975. I purchased it from the original owner about 1978 and have kept it in my home since. This guitar and its original case are time capsules. The original stencil artwork looks as it did when new in 1954. Case does have a little wear around one of the edges, and there is a puncture as shown in the picture. Other than that, the case is an amazing condition. Silvertone 1375 (early U1 series) made by Danelectro of Neptune New Jersey in either 1954 or 1955. The pots date to 1954. It's a solid body guitar with an aluminum bar that runs from the neck through body. It has a red tolex covering on the body and a white Lightning Bolt Silvertone logo on the headstock. ONE 1954 5D6, 5E6, 5E6-A FENDER Tweed Bassman TRIAD 2820 output Transformer. This is a clean working unit. There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings.
