Up for sale is one of the last of the last of my collection--a 1954 Gibson ES-295 Sunburst. I know that the vast majority of this model from 53-54 were finished in a gold color, making the sunburst very special, unique, and even more difficult to find. There is no way to determine how few guitars finished in other than the usual gold were made but all of these guitars are highly sought after since only 1, 770 in total were made between 1952 and 1958. Here we have a vintage 1954 Fender Champ Amp! This is the 5C1 circuit with wide panel front and tweed covering. It has around 5 watts with a 6V6GT power tube, 6SJ7 preamp tube, and 5Y3GT rectifier tube. The amp is in very good physical condition with light wear to the exterior. The speaker is a modern Jensen replacement, and the amp has seen service over the years. It has a modern grounded 3 prong power cable installed. It's a great sounding little amp! Ultra rare vintage part from the first year production!
Original 1954 Stratocaster pickup cover in polystyrene (aka "Bakelite " ) used only for the very first years, from 1954 to early 1957
The remaining structure is in good condition with no cracks or repairs. The top side has been lost over the years, however it is usable because the side part protects the winding leaving visible the black base of the pickup exposed (see the photos of the cover installed on the pickguard)
