ONE 1954 5D6, 5E6, 5E6-A FENDER Tweed Bassman TRIAD 2820 output Transformer. This is a clean working unit. There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings. 1954 Gibson BR-9, this was the BR-9 that came out before the GA-9 and after the original BR-9 was no longer being made. This BR-9 has the identical circuit as the newer GA-9 with only a couple minor changes. This model also has the original 10?? Jensen speaker most of them had a 8?? speaker and the wattage is between 15-18 watts. The internet master tube tech Uncle Doug actually did a video on this amplifier. This guitar and its original case are time capsules. The original stencil artwork looks as it did when new in 1954. Case does have a little wear around one of the edges, and there is a puncture as shown in the picture. Other than that, the case is an amazing condition. This Guild X-350 was made in the original Guild factory in Manhattan, largely by craftsman who had come over from Epiphone following a strike at the factory there. I'm selling a 1954 Sound Inc Soundette 15 watt tube amp. This amp has been 100% electrically serviced and has been modified for use with guitar or harmonica. I performed all the work on this amp and it's in excellent shape. The amplifier section was the focus of the restoration. I left the tone stack original because I liked the sound of it and it didn't require any repair.
