Here we have a wonderful vintage 1954 Fender Deluxe 5D3 Amplifier! This wide panel tweed model is in very good overall condition and good working order. It is serial number 3665 and has DL stamped on the tube chart. The speaker code is 220446 and the transformers look original. It has a replaced handle. This is a rare Earth Sound Research guitar amp from about 1975. I purchased it from the original owner about 1978 and have kept it in my home since. This guitar and its original case are time capsules. The original stencil artwork looks as it did when new in 1954. Case does have a little wear around one of the edges, and there is a puncture as shown in the picture. Other than that, the case is an amazing condition. ONE 1954 5D6, 5E6, 5E6-A FENDER Tweed Bassman TRIAD 2820 output Transformer. This is a clean working unit. There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings.
