When I got this, it was an absolute mess but it had potential!

Gibson BR-6F 3-Input 10-Watt 1x8" Guitar Combo 1948 - 1954. This amp has nice warm tubes. Very satisfying fuzz at higher gains. Originally for lap steel but I used it with regular electric guitars. ONE 1954 5D6, 5E6, 5E6-A FENDER Tweed Bassman TRIAD 2820 output Transformer. This is a clean working unit. There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings. This serves as insulation and moisture, (non condensing), protection and is part of the manufacturing process. You usually see evidence of the varnish on top of the laminations

Silvertone 1375 (early U1 series) made by Danelectro of Neptune New Jersey in either 1954 or 1955. The pots date to 1954. It's a solid body guitar with an aluminum bar that runs from the neck through body. It has a red tolex covering on the body and a white Lightning Bolt Silvertone logo on the headstock. This great guitar is an original Guild Model X-150 from way back in 1954 . While this is mostly original , it does have what appears to be an aftermarket tailpiece, and it had a modern aftermarket truss rod cover, which we have removed. We are trying to find a cover that is more correct, but for now it is photographed, and it is being sold without a truss rod cover The bridge is correct, but it just looks too new for me to call it original. This is a 3-tube amplifier using 5Y3 rectifier, 6SJ7 preamp, and 6V6 output. I replaced the old filter capacitors with 600 volt electrolytics. This is a vintage 1954 Fender 5D3 Tweed Deluxe that came right before the 5E3 iteration. And yes, it still retains its original canvas cover from Victoria Luggage Company in Los Angeles, California. Therefore, this iteration of the deluxe features a lot of the same highly sought after tonal shapes and historic overdriven sag as the 5E3. 1954 Gibson BR-9, this was the BR-9 that came out before the GA-9 and after the original BR-9 was no longer being made. This BR-9 has the identical circuit as the newer GA-9 with only a couple minor changes. This model also has the original 10?? This guitar and its original case are time capsules. The original stencil artwork looks as it did when new in 1954. Case does have a little wear around one of the edges, and there is a puncture as shown in the picture. Other than that, the case is an amazing condition. Original pickguard for a 1954 ?? 1959Fender Stratocaster. There is a crack and a small part is missing near the slotfor the switch. A thin layer of plastic (0, 5 mm) is glued underneath tostabilize the pickguard. As it is loose at some points, I assume that it can beremoved without any problems
I got the pickguard in thiscondition about 20 years ago.
A metal shield is added, though Icannot guarantee it is original. It was sold to me as original, however

This is in tremendous condition for a guitar from 1954. Plays and sounds great, and had a full refret last year by McIntyre Guitars in Edinburgh. Structurally sound, loads of minor dinks - there is a small hole drilled at the back of the headstock (pictured) - I can't figure out what it was for. Also evidence that there was a floating neck pickup fitted to the end of the neck at some point
All in all, this is a great guitar - looks, sounds and plays just like it should
