For 40 years old it's in great shape
Whatever dings there are to be found are minimal. The biggest of which are by the wings and I got the best photos I could of them. If you want more, just holler
The back might be one of my favorite faces of it. There is a super minimal amount of worming where buckle rash would be but its only visible in certain lights. The finish on it just looks beautiful though

1974 Gibson Flying V w / Original Case
Looks plays and sounds fantastic! Neck plays amazing!! Super light Under 7 lbs!! Typical Gibson headstock repairprofessionally done. No finish alteration in the crack site just structural repair and very solid.
Includes hard shell case with Gibson logo and purple interior. Electronics are all original. The pickguard is a little wavy but no major cracks or separations other than the input jack has a make shift white plastic plate to support the ... view on ebay

Up for sale is a 1984 Gibson Flying V in Pearl White. This is one of my favorite finishes Gibson offered in the '80s and this one has aged to a killer yellow hue. Please see our photos! This one comes to us in good condition. There are lots of dings and dents and some splotches in the finish where the color did not darken evenly either age. This is an original set of 6 Gibson Schaller nickel plated 5 / 8 inch guitar tuner bushings. These were found on many Gibson guitars from the 70's to early 80's. They usually came on the guitars with the Schaller made "Floral" tuners, but I've seen these bushings on some guitars with the Kluson made "Gibson Deluxe" tuners. These are in good shape. Tarnish / patina can be cleaned, but I purposely left it on.

This Used 1980 Gibson Flying V2 in Cherry Sunburst is here on consignment. It is in great shape, especially for its age. The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, and the original frets are fairly low but still have plenty of life left in them. 1980 Gibson Flying V V2 in ultra rare cherry sunburst color with the original hard shell case. Custom color 80-82 Gibson V2 guitars are scarce but cherry sunburst is exceptionally rare. This guitar is in very good all original condition with the exception of the back cavity cover. It looks like someone customized this cover with a piece of gold aluminum. Everything else is original, including pots, pickups, switches, and jacks. There are a few scratches throughout the body, mostly on the back. The top is very clean.
