Up for sale is a 1984 Gibson Flying V in Pearl White. This is one of my favorite finishes Gibson offered in the '80s and this one has aged to a killer yellow hue. Please see our photos! This one comes to us in good condition. There are lots of dings and dents and some splotches in the finish where the color did not darken evenly either age. Great looking Gibson CMT from 1982
For 40 years old it's in great shape
Whatever dings there are to be found are minimal. The biggest of which are by the wings and I got the best photos I could of them. If you want more, just holler
The back might be one of my favorite faces of it. There is a super minimal amount of worming where buckle rash would be but its only visible in certain lights. The finish on it just looks beautiful though

Check out this cool '80s Gibson Flying V! It's a blast to play and sounds awesome. This guitar rocks a factory-installed Gibson Super Tune / Kahler Tremolo Bridge and Locking Nut. Here??s a rare hard-tail 1984 Gibson Flying V??most of them had a Kahler tremolo. It has DiMarzio pickups, so if you want the sound of 1980s thrash and metal, this is for you. It has real relicing from 41 years of play. The neck is a 1958 v profile; it??s absolutely huge, but the previous owner shaved the finish off it, and if you play it, you??ll see why. Up for sale is a 1983 Gibson USA Flying V empty husk. The headstock and neck joint both have solid repairs from partial cracks. The entire guitar looks to have been refinished. A Floyd rose trem system was added to the guitar. It's a well done modification. It??s been strung up and played without issues. The frets are good. The truss rod works great. Neck is straight. This is an original set of 6 Gibson Schaller nickel plated 5 / 8 inch guitar tuner bushings. These were found on many Gibson guitars from the 70's. They usually came on the guitars with the Schaller made "Floral" tuners, but I've seen these bushings on some guitars with the Kluson made "Gibson Deluxe" tuners. These are in good shape

This is a red 1984 USA flying V, see the pictures for condition, I think from the serial number it's a Nashville guitar. for a 40 year old it's in great shape. Plays as you'd expect, and comes with a good quality, new, V soft case. almost zero fret wear, looks as though it's not been played much at all. There are small marks on the body as pictured and the shoulders and tip of the back of the headstock.
