1965 Hofner Senator! Made in Germany. Cool and rare model. Bound Maple top with Blond finish, with dual 'F'-holes and tortoise guard, capping off a hollow Maple back and sides with some nice figure. 3-piece neck, topped with a Rosewood board with zero-fret and unique triple-dot inlays. Hofner Senator Electric Guitar 1959 / 1960. One of the first made with a truss rod. Desirable original 'Toaster' pickup which sounds great. Electrics are working apart from the tone switch next to the volume pot which doesn't seem to work, to my ears anyway. The other two switches definitely work. Pot code of 1959.
