This is a Yamaha SG 300 double cutaway made in Japan between 1982-86 It has a mahog solid body . The slim set neck is also mahog with a rosewood fingerboard The finish is a gloss burgundy red. There is a however a mottled cloudy pattern behind the gloss which has appeared faintly I think this must have been caused by being in a case for many years without one of those moisture sapping bags inside Other than that the guitar is in perfect condition.
