For sale is my Maton 6 string electric semi-acoustic hollow body guitar. I don't know a lot about the guitar other than that I have owned it since new. I had a Maton Sapphire which was stolen. I rang Maton and they suggested a new style guitar that they were making with a centre block. We discussed the colour and the pickups and this was what arrived. It's in absolutely original condition.

Made in Japan in the 1980's in fairly limited numbers, the Bill Lawrence BT2-M Mad Cat was one of the better Prince Telecaster models ever made. With a lovely amber stain that's aged beautifully covering an ash body sandwiched between a black-bound solid birds-eye maple top and back separated by a walnut centre stripe bolted to a one-piece maple neck, it weighs 3 6kg's. The neck is comfortable and plays great with a 42mm nut width, a nice soft-v profile and 21 vintage frets.

The most expensive bass model featured in Greco's 1975 catalog, the SB-850 was the Suzi Quatro model Thunderbird bass. Quatro was contacted by Greco during a Japanese tour in 1974 where they offered to build her a bass to her specs as a gift. Around 3000 of these were made in Texas by Bob Murrell and MCI music from the 60's to the 80's using Japanese import bodies (like this Ventura V-1400) and filling them with their Guitorgan electronics. Unfortunately we don't have the pedal with this one but we had the electronics checked by a tech and they seemingly would work if you could find the pedal and cable (not guaranteed, but all the electronics are in there and look to be in good condition).

Here's a c 1973 Ibanez 754 Jumbo, made in Japan. This is a pretty rare model, only made for a couple of years I think (1973-75), in Nagoya. It's a copy of the Gibson Everly Bros as you can see from the characteristic double pickguard and star inlays and dates from the era before Gibson and the others started muscling in on the Japanese market to prevent such blatant 'homages'.
