Up for sale is my ?78 Musicmaster bass. The short scale neck feels great in hand and is a joy to play. Comes shipped with LaBella flat wound strings for that fantastic old school vibe.
Condition is good overall with some minor flaws due to age. Plays and sounds great and is all original

This is a vintage 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass with a Black finish. First introduced in 1971, the Musicmaster bass was built using leftover parts from Fender's guitar line. It has a short, 30 inch scale, which makes it light and comfortable to play
This bass is in great functional and cosmetic condition with some typical signs of wear, some scuffs and dings, an added strap button, and a slightly bent low E tuner button. It has an upgraded Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickup, which sounds killer!... more

This bass is previously owned and shows cosmetic wear consistent with age and normal use, including some surface marks on the body. When playing, there is some noticeable pot noise, which may benefit from cleaning or servicing

In good condition for its age vintage 1978 all original a few marks on front and back probably needs a professional set up. it??s been sitting in my loft for at least 10 years comes with a hard case a bit battered but dose the job. short scale still sounds great welcome to pick up or I??ll post it via DPD tracking. Lovely vintage 1978 made in USA Fender Musicmaster short scale bass guitar. As you can see from the photos it is well loved but plays and sounds beautiful. Currently string with Labella flats and has an aftermarket 4 pole pickup that sounds very full and more P like than the weaker guitar pickup these would have came with.
From what I can tell this has never been refinished or repaired but does have an upgraded mustang style bridge - this is a common mod to help with tone and intonation on ... more

Angeboten wird der Fender Musicmaster Shortscale Bass von 1978. Er befindet sich in einem sehr guten Zustand, trägt allerdings die üblichen Rock 'n' Roll Benutzungsspuren (s Bilder)
Ist ein idealer Bass für alle mit kleineren Händen. Da etwas kleiner ist er auch nicht so schwer (ca. 4, 2 kg)
