Vintage guitars for sale: Fender Musicmaster bass

Made in USA 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass in very good condition, never gigged, and it has only been used sparingly in my home. As a matter of fact, it has never even left my climate controlled home. I bought it new in 1979 for my wife to learn to play, but it just wasn't her thing, I used it a few times for recording and making loops. This is a vintage 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass with a Black finish. First introduced in 1971, the Musicmaster bass was built using leftover parts from Fender's guitar line. It has a short, 30 inch scale, which makes it light and comfortable to play

Lovely vintage 1978 made in USA Fender Musicmaster short scale bass guitar. As you can see from the photos it is well loved but plays and sounds beautiful. Currently string with Labella flats and has an aftermarket 4 pole pickup that sounds very full and more P like than the weaker guitar pickup these would have came with.
From what I can tell this has never been refinished or repaired but does have an upgraded mustang style bridge - this is a common mod to help with tone and intonation on ... more
