Up for sale is my ?78 Musicmaster bass. The short scale neck feels great in hand and is a joy to play. Comes shipped with LaBella flat wound strings for that fantastic old school vibe.
Condition is good overall with some minor flaws due to age. Plays and sounds great and is all original

Made in USA 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass in very good condition, never gigged, and it has only been used sparingly in my home. As a matter of fact, it has never even left my climate controlled home. I bought it new in 1979 for my wife to learn to play, but it just wasn't her thing, I used it a few times for recording and making loops. Lovely vintage 1978 made in USA Fender Musicmaster short scale bass guitar. As you can see from the photos it is well loved but plays and sounds beautiful. Currently string with Labella flats and has an aftermarket 4 pole pickup that sounds very full and more P like than the weaker guitar pickup these would have came with.
From what I can tell this has never been refinished or repaired but does have an upgraded mustang style bridge - this is a common mod to help with tone and intonation on ... more

Refinish is a good job, but probably wants a buffing session as it??s a bit orange peely close up

The Fender Musicmaster Bass Guitar from 1970 in white colour is a vintage piece of history for any musician looking for a classic bass guitar. This one is one of the earliest examples! Nice dark rosewood fretboard. Back of the neck lacquer had worn out. Plays and sounds phenomenal!
The colour is almost cream / lemon as it has aged really well with beautiful finish cracks give this bass super mojo. Few dings and scratched here and there - but thats what it gives this bass the feel, style! ... more
