Matte black / purple / green oil slick refinished Fender musicmaster bass from the early 1970's with a Seymour Duncan single coil pickup, Hipshot Kickass bridge and new strings. Here we have an early 70s Fender Musicmaster bass that has been professionally refinished in silver
It plays great and includes all of the original parts. The pickguard, volume pot and pickup have been replaced. The original pickup works great but I preferred the Seymour duncan that has replaced it. The volume pot unfortunately was accidentally broken and has a disconnected shaft. The original owner replaced the pickguard with a reproduction because of damage as shown to the original ... more

Great sounding vintage Fender 1977-1978 USA made Musicmaster 4 string electric bass. The aged white finish looks even better in person. There are a few signs of cosmetic wear from normal use over the years but no break or repairs and it plays and sounds great. The original pickups sound great and and it has a great vintage tone. This was originally Dakota Red, but was refinished in this Blueburst at some point, a very long time ago. The pickguard and pickup are also replacements, WD and DiMarzio respectively. Now that that??s out of the way?? this is a killer vintage bass with some cool mojo to it. The weight is just about perfect, 7lbs 7oz, and the pickup has a vintage quality to it that??s reminiscent of the original.
