This is an original set of Gretsch Van Ghent gold plated 3 on a side tuners. As seen some late 60's / early 70's Jet Firebird, Duo Jet, and Chet Atkins Country Gentleman and Nashville models. Please do your own research and check the original screw holes in your guitar, since Gretsch used other types of tuners as well. Shows wear, and loss of gold plating but working properly. Complete with original screws. Bushings are NOT INCLUDED

This fine instrument came to us from a huge vintage instrument collector's estate that we have been successfully selling from for over 5 years now. Very good condition 1956 Gretsch Duo Jet in black. All original with no structural damage. The original Dearmond Dynasonic pickups some nice and warm and take overdrive nicely. There is lighter player wear on the top, with a smaller buckle rash on the back as pictured. Played but not abused. No scratchy pots. Medium weight. Some vert light wear on the top of the headstock. 1956 Gretsch Model 6128 Duo Jet
Weight: 6 LBS 13 OZ
Serial # 19646=1956
Tuners were swapped and correct original type has been re-installed
6 extra screw holes were filled and touched up. They are very hard to see and just poke out from the side of the current tuners
2 of the tuners are bent but work fine
There was never a ground wire to the tailpiece so that was added to quiet the guitar down
All finish is original and good vintage condition
