With one exception, this guitar is in excellent condition and has beautiful sound. In the pictures I am pointing to a split in the wood just above the bridge. x1809xUp for sale is a nice, used Ovation Preacher guitar. This guitar is in overall condition. There are normal signs of use and wear, including some light dings to the body and back of neck. I tried to get photos of these, but they did not show up very well. There are no major scratches.
I tried finding an exact date by serial number, but was unable to find a good database. Partial serial # is E 1809x

Condition: Good
The exterior of this case does have a few dings in it: two along the ridge of the top mold, a slight crack on the front side, and one of the metal knob feet is caved in a bit. There is also a slight gap between the top and bottom in the back side when closed. See pictures for details.
All that being said, they are all minor flaws and this case functions perfectly and still looks awesome!

Plays and sounds great but has lots of cosmetic wear. There's a chunk missing from the headstock. There are some surface cracks in the top. No surprise there. A couple originate at the bridge. There's another near the bass side of the neck joint. There's a small shim under the saddle. The saddle itself shows wear. There's a crack in the binding on the bass side near the 12th fret. This ovation case has been around. It??s structurally sound. All hinges work. One hinge may have been reinforced with a rivet. Some of the black plastic decorative trim has peeled off but that doesn??t affect anything. All of the fasteners work as they should although there is no key for the one that locks
The hard shell plastic is all intact. There is just a superficial small crack by one of the hinges which you can see in one of the pics. The handle is fully intact

I??ll address the obvious thing: it has a big crack on the top. Now, the top is plywood anyways, so just like in old Eko guitars, it doesn??t affect much in terms of sound, playability, tune holding, or correct functioning, but it looks pretty ugly.
I bought it not knowing it was ply, and the crack edges are warping upwards, which makes the repair a bit more tricky, so I decided to sell it like this. ... view on ebay

This is a left handed Ovation Electro Acoustic Guitar with a sunburst finish. It was made inConnecticut USA in 1982. Overall, it is in very good cosmetic condition but itdoes have a small hole in the rounded body where it looks as though someonetried to move the strap button.

This doesn??t affect the sound or aspect ofa very nice guitar.

It comes with the original Ovationhardcase.

Lovely original hard case from my Ovation Ultra guitar
The case is in great condition, very protective for a precious instrument
I presume 1980 as that is the date of my Ovation Ultra
I prefer a gig bag hence my sale
It's dimensions are 3 foot 8 inches long , top neck width is 6 and a half inches, but this widens to 7 towards the body
The neck depth at the top is 5 inches, the depth of the body is 7 and a half inches
