Playable (barley) action is high and will need to be reset. There is the common crack on the top, no dings or chips to the neck. Check the photos they tell the story better than me. The case is a little rough, however it is still solid, again the photos are your friend. It is priced accordingly.

Serial number dates it as being a 1975-1980 model. I??ve owned it since the early 90??s. It fell off a stand in the late 90??s and slightly cracked the headstock. It didn??t break completely. It wasn??t even a loose crack but I didn??t want to make it worse so it sat in my closet until earlier this year. It was plugged in so the pick guard was also cracked at the jack.

1976 Ovation 1617-1 acoustic electric guitar. Serial #085364. Plays great, everything works perfectly. Frets look new and, even though it will probably benefit from a setup, there's no fret-out the whole way down the neck. It needs strings - these ones are probably decades old - but I don't want to guess what gauge / material the next owner will want so I'll leave the old ones on. Could use a good cleaning, as well. x1809xUp for sale is a nice, used Ovation Preacher guitar. This guitar is in overall condition. There are normal signs of use and wear, including some light dings to the body and back of neck. I tried to get photos of these, but they did not show up very well. There are no major scratches.
I tried finding an exact date by serial number, but was unable to find a good database. Partial serial # is E 1809x

For your consideration is an Ovation 1115-4 acoustic guitar. Another beautiful piece from Ovation! Some signs of use, but it's still alive and kicking. Although it is a 12-string guitar, it is currently strung as a 6 string. Like many 12-string guitars, the action can become rather sky high, which might require expensive and invasive repairs. In this case, we have opted to keep it as a 6-string, and the action is great!

I have owned this guitar since 1980, but now have to start downsizing my collection
It has just had a new set of Elixar strings and it sounds and plays great. It has a built in pick up and a volume control if you need to amplify and plays as only a vintage Ovation can.
