Rare single cut model from German brand Framus. This one has been heavily modified - body and headstock refinished in Hampsted Green Metallic automotive paint, with back left transparent. By no means perfect (some grain showing through on the front, and purposely left the back grain porous)

Interesting c. 1970 Framus Country and Western model dreadnought. Made in West Germany. Unusual in that it has a dovetail joint rather than the odd bolt-on neck more often seen here. Looks to have all original parts, but I don??t have any thumbwheels on the adjustable bridge. It??s all the way down, so it rests directly on the top (better for tone anyway). For sale is a Framus Parlor Acoustic - Orange Burst for parts or repair
The acoustic at one point was routed for someone to drop a loaded pickguard in it so it could be an electric acoustic
The bridge has been repaired at some point, but as you can see in the pictures, the peg holes will need some routing because some of the pegs can't fit in their place now
This guitar is definitely a good project guitar, but it's just gonna need some good tlc to get up and running again

Als ich diese Gitarre bekommen habe, war sie in einem nicht allzu tollen Zustand. Mit etwas Pflege und Herrichten ist sie jedoch jetzt wieder fast wie neu. Natürlich gibt es ein paar Dellen und Macken an dieser fast 50 Jahre alten Gitarre, aber nichts Gravierendes. Es gibt KEINE Risse oder alten Reparaturen

This rare find is in incredible playing condition.
As you can see in the pictures gave the guitar a complete neck reset, adding a shim under the heel to counteract the unfortunately very stiff and hard to adjust truss rod. In combination with the neck reset and fully functioning adjustable bridge, a low action and perfect intonation has been achieved

Original Framus Bass aus den 70ern, Farbe ist nicht original. Decals und Daumenstütze können rückstandslos entfernt werden. Roasted Neck in sehr gutem Zustand, polierte Bünde ohne jegliche Kerben. Steg PU ebenfalls vintage aber nicht original, passt aber sehr gut dazu. Rückseite zeigt die original Farbe. Beautiful 1950s archtop parlour guitar. Great for old-time and country blues style. The guitar has had a pickup fitted in the past so does have holes in the side of the neck where this would have been fitted - see photos. This does not affect the guitar playability in any way and is purely cosmetic.

Ich verkaufe meine Framus Folk Western Gitarre von der Legacy Serie.
Da ich vor einer Weile auf ein anderes Instrument umgestiegen bin, ist diese Gitarre kaum genutzt und deshalb wunderbar in Schuss. Verkaufe diese wunderschöne Framus Caravelle BL 15 in Natur Optik. Leider kann man das genaue Baujahr anhand der Seriennummer bei diesen alten Framus Gitarren nicht ermitteln. Durch lange Recherchen und "Ausschlusskriterium" anhand der Specs sollte sie zwischen 1966 und 1969 gebaut sein

It was serviced: all switches and pots were cleaned to avoid any noise. Tuning pegs lubricated. All the hardware was carefully cleaned from rust and dust. Including all the screws.
Frets levelled, dresses and polished.
Fretboard cleaned and oiled up.
All the paint is original and was carefully polished. Truss rod adjusted. New strings on.
