Interesting c. 1970 Framus Country and Western model dreadnought. Made in West Germany. Unusual in that it has a dovetail joint rather than the odd bolt-on neck more often seen here. Looks to have all original parts, but I don??t have any thumbwheels on the adjustable bridge. It??s all the way down, so it rests directly on the top (better for tone anyway). Absolutely gorgeous c. 1970 Framus Texan dreadnought. The classic ??so cheesy it??s cool?? German acoustic, in quite rare blonde finish. All laminates, but very nice book-matched flamey back. Rather heavy x-bracing on top. Back is arched. Just honest player wear, and rather light at that. A few scratches and dings here and there, but nothing major. The acoustic at one point was routed for someone to drop a loaded pickguard in it so it could be an electric acoustic
The bridge has been repaired at some point, but as you can see in the pictures, the peg holes will need some routing because some of the pegs can't fit in their place now

Rare single cut model from German brand Framus. This one has been heavily modified - body and headstock refinished in Hampsted Green Metallic automotive paint, with back left transparent. By no means perfect (some grain showing through on the front, and purposely left the back grain porous)

Headstock had been repaired when I first got it, but it seems solid. Headstock logo is just a vinyl sticker. Some fret wear on the lower frets but still very playable. Original tuners are a little... more

This is a mid 1960s era Framus arch back classical guitar Model 5 / 13 The guitar is in overall pristine condition. The original tuners were broken so I replaced them with a similar style new set. I will include the original tuners in the package, see photo. (Two of the knob posts had come apart from the mounting plate. My local luthier said they are repairable, but not worth the effort. )

Da ich vor einer Weile auf ein anderes Instrument umgestiegen bin, ist diese Gitarre kaum genutzt und deshalb wunderbar in Schuss. Keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren bis auf einen Fehler im Lack in den ersten beiden Bünden, diese waren aber schon beim Kauf vorhanden. Keine Ahnung wie das passiert ist. Original Framus Bass aus den 70ern, Farbe ist nicht original. Decals und Daumenstütze können rückstandslos entfernt werden. Roasted Neck in sehr gutem Zustand, polierte Bünde ohne jegliche Kerben. Steg PU ebenfalls vintage aber nicht original, passt aber sehr gut dazu. Rückseite zeigt die original Farbe. Framus Starbass 5 / 156-62 von 1964, Nummer 15981-63C, vor gut 15 Jahren bei Ebay gekauft. Damals hatte er noch einen DIN Stecker, was nervte, so wurde ein Klinkenstecker eingebaut (siehe Foto). Time to declutter, so here??s my Framus Acoustic Amateur 5 / 1 Parlor Guitar in Sunburst, fitted with Ernie Ball Super Slinky Light Gauge Strings. The guitar features an Arched Back and Zero Fret. The model is Circa 60??s / 70??s
The body has several scratches, but they??re in character given its age!

Kaum gespielt (vielleicht ein paar Stunden) und mit wenigen Gebrauchsspuren. Die Gitarre ist im technisch-einwandfreiem Zustand! Sie war mir zum täglichen Üben einfach etwas zu groß. Wenn ich wieder eine Jumbo kaufen würde, dann genau diese hier. Mehr geht nicht. Die regendichte Mojo-Tasche ist nicht mit im Preis drin kann, aber dazu gekauft werden. Gerne Angebote:
