Vintage 1965 Kay USA Truetone Vanguard 302 Guitar Pickguard. This might be correct for some other models made by Kay. Numerous fine play scratches (please see photos). A few deeper scratches. One tiny red mark that might be from a Sharpie. Do not see any obvious cracks. Color is slightly more toward beige / cream than the way it looks in the photos (very common with Kay plastics). A nice pickguard! Please view photos for accurate cosmetic condition. Last photo is of the exact same model... view on ebay

Electric Guitar
Made in USA

I purchased this guitar online in 2019 and purchased all the parts separately for it. This Kay Vanguard is a fantastic opportunity to own an affordable piece of vintage Americana. It offers the classic '60s "pluckiness" and vibe without the high cost of a Fender or Gibson from the same decade. If you love vintage guitars that have history, mojo, and a truly unique voice, this is the one to add to your collection or to be your next unique gigging companion!
