Completely rebuilt by Ron Neal about 20 years ago and stored high and dry. Great sounding example of a vintage Jensen. Ron had and used all the original cones and voice coils and was the official West Coast Jensen repair and restore shop. Super rare Vintage Itallian guitar from 1963. The pick up selection works as it should. The trem works fine. There is a little light scratching as shown, the two knobs are cracked as shown. The truss cover only has one screw in it. It plays like a guitar from the era - not to my taste if im honest but these are so rare and super collectable. I bought this 1963 Guild Starfire III double cutaway sunburst, ser# EL 336, in California in 1990. It's in very good to excellent condition with a few minor dings and scratches (see photos), no buckle rash. Frets are in very good condition. The main imperfection is where the guitar has been hanging on the wall and the varnish has compressed around the headstock, it's quite smooth and doesn't affect the playing. 1963 Fender Precision Bass with a Sunburst relic refinish over an Alder body. It's been given a fairly heavy relic job. Exceptionally Rare Daneklectro Dano Pro from 1963 in 'Brown Sparkle'. This is an exceptionally cool guitar, all original from what I can tell, plays great all over the neck and sounds fantastic
As you'd expect with a guitar of this age it has some wear and tear, notable a nick in the back of the neck which hasn't bothered me at all when playing. For sale is my 1963 Fender Brownface Bandmaster Combo. This amp started life as a head but the chassis was rehoused into a lovely reproduction pine 3x10 cabinet to replicate the very rare 1960 3x10 bandmaster. The speakers are Jensen p10r f??s out of a 57 fender custom shop bandmaster and sound fantastic. The amp has recently been serviced and runs as it should.
