I??ve plugged into it and you do get sound from it. Lots of cackle, moderate feedback. It does have a Jensen speaker otherwise doesn??t look like any work has been done to it. I??m told it??s a 1959 & likely a GA-8 Discoverer. Regardless, I know there??s a lot of potential here. I??m just moving and it??s one of my former ... view on ebay

Hello !
Up for sale is an amazing vintage amplifier from CMI Electronics S G. Systems The SG 100 !
From my understanding, this amp was supposed to be a collaboration between Gibson and CMI Electronics and some other music giants of the day. I'm not even sure what the real story on this is, as I couldn't find any exact info on this unit, just going by what I heard on youtube
But never mind this boring and relatively inconsequential back story. What I do know is that few pieces of gear ... view on ebay

Freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this BR-6 is the three-input version as redesigned by Gibson in 1948, pushing 12 watts via a pair of vintage RCA 6V6 power tubes through a Jensen field coil 10" P10S speaker
The tone is warm and fairly dark in its voicing from 1-5 on the single Volume dial, gaining grit and overdriven roar pushing towards 10. The amp ... view on ebay

Made in 1962 in Kalamazoo, this Gibson GA-8T Discoverer Tremolo produces 10 watts through a 12 inch speaker. It has two instrument inputs and controls include Volume, Tone, Depth, and Frequency. The bias modulating tremolo is one of the strongest I've heard with a pronounced effect at only 2 or 3 on the dial. The speed ranges from very slow to very fast. Includes original wooden footswitch for the tremolo
Original components include the speaker (Jensen 12J11), power transformer, and output ... view on ebay

Vintage 1959 Gibson Tweed Explorer GA18T USA 1x12 Amplifier Combo *1950s
You won't want to miss out on this one. It's a seriously cool piece of vintage amp history, this 1959 Gibson GA18T comes with a great provenance, having previously belonged to Diccon Hubbard of The Salford Jets, who purchased it from A1 Music back in the 1990s. This one has all the character you'd hope to find in a late-'50s Gibson, yet retaining the originality throughout. The cabinet wears its years proudly, with ... view on ebay

These came with an amp that sat on the back and was connected with adaptors. Then the whole thing was leant back . I have a lot of metal connectors but I took them off There is a metal tube that acts as a support stand st thd back. I presume this is 100 watt, I measured it as 16 ohm. The original 1960s Jensens inside don't say their power meeting but the titan head was supposed to be like a twin reverb and was rated at 80 or 85 watts therefore they must surely have given a bit more power to the... view on ebay
