Mercury Medalist tube amplifier from the 60s. This was taken straight out of storage. It has not been cleaned. Powers on but has not been tested with a musical instrument. I have an input jack I inserted in the Channel Input and grounded it with my thumb. I don't hear any resistance, so it may need a part or parts replaced to function. Awesome sounding vintage 1959 Gibson gibsonette 9w tube guitar amp. 10?? Jupiter 10-SA speaker.

Recently retubed and recapped at Austin vintage guitars. All works and sounds as it should, however the volume pot might need to be changed at some point, the volume sometimes dips between 5-7 settings, then comes back at around 8 as normal and increases as normal to max volume. I play this around 2-3 at home which is plenty loud, so it??s not an issue for me.

Yes, it is trapezoidal! Very good condition considering its age. Missing the castors and clips that held the amp on top but still with the tilt-back leg and side handles. At some stage this had been fitted with an 18" speaker and the baffle cut to suit. A second baffle has been installed to mount the JBL.
