One of the most unique guitars I have had in here. This is a 1952 Gibson Les Paul with factory added burst (1958-1959) era appointments. Sometime in 59-60 it was sent back to Gibson for a new finish in all gold (front and back!). The Gold color is the later version in use at the end of the decade. Da es sich hier um eine ca. 47 Jahre alte Gibson handelt hat sie natürlich hier und dort ein paar Gebrauchsspuren, aber der allgemeine Zustand ist wirklich gut. Gibson Les Paul Custom 1981. Rare natural finish and all completely original- never been touched / altered. Aged beautifully with a few marks here which I have tried to show, but overall in fantastic condition for a 45 year old. Very resonant as you might expect, sustains for days. Please look closely at the photos, the Les Paul Pro is a Standard with Ebony fretboard and the famous P90s, picking all the resonance and sustain of this 45 years old wood. 70's mid-narrow neck with wide and flat original frets of this period, low action on this fast neck. Vintage Les Paul Deluxe from '76 finished in classic sunburst.
Very good condition for a 48 year old guitar, with just the common signs of wear, blemishes and lacquer checking as you'd expect for a 48 year old guitar (see pics). Some buckle rash to the rear which is barely visible unless bouncing light onto the surface we we've done in the photographs. It's had a recent pro refret (barely noticeable as nibs still intact). No breaks or repairs, and everything works as it should. ... more

I have owned this Gold Top for around 30 years, in that time I have replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan Mini Humbuckers (still have the original pickups) and replaced the input jack and two of the volume / tone pots (I have kept the original ones as well, the serial numbers on the original pots date at 1974).
