Here??s a very rare one. One of the first double cutaway Juniors from 1958. Only a few were made with the enlarged pick guard like this
It has the earliest serial number I??ve seen on a double cutaway Les Paul Junior.
The pick up may have been rewound as the solder joint looks re-done. The pots have 1957 date codes.

The above noted guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Custom, twentieth anniversary edition guitar in cherry burst finish. The serial number indicates that it would be either manufactured in 1974 or 1975, and the twentieth anniversary inlay also would confirm this as the first Gibson Les Paul Custom was made in late 1953, and is considered to be a 1954 official year release. I've owned this guitar for about 20 years after its previous owner had significantly restored it back to it's original spec by respected Luthier Ray Cooper (sadly now passed away). It is a Player grade guitar - some might call it a barn find

Super clean Les Paul Custom all original from 1981. One owner from new, only played in church, has seen no abuse is probably the best example I've seen from this period.
Unusually the gold hardware has virtually no tarnishing, there is just a little lacquer wear on the rear of the neck and tiny marks here and there. Pots date 79 and 80, the Tim Shaw pickups sound brilliant

Good condition Gibson Les Paul Custom from 1969. What strikes me first about this guitar is the weight, it's incredibly light! An absolute pleasure to play, with a slim 60s style neck. There has been a neck repair at some point, but it's almost impossible to spot. The guitar itself has had a recent pro level refinish. 1981 Gibson Les Paul XR1. This model was made famous by Steve Clark from Def Leppard back in the 80s. Kahler trem replaced with Tune o matic. Neck pickup replaced with Ibanez Super 70s. Truss rod cover not original. Headstock has had minor repair which you can see on the left side of the tuning pegs. Neck is straight, tuning stable, frets still have life and original Dirty Fingers pickup in the bridge is a monster. Vintage Gibson at a not so vintage price. Comes with tweed hardcase
