Someone attempted to route this guitar and cut off a good amount of the wood under the pickguard. Please study all photos for proper understanding of condition

The pickups on this guitar are not the original pickups, the pickups are Custom Shop Seymour Duncan Antiquities that were put in more recently. Aside from the pickup switch, everything underneath the pickguard has been replaced.

Let me start by saying, this amp works, but it is 68 years old and all original. I believe the serial number dates it to 1958. While I was testing, one of the caps smoked, and amazingly, it still works. I am not a musician, and I don't have a bass, but I plugged an electric violin into all four jacks and plucked the strings. This is a 1958 5F8 Tweed Twin chassis. Serial #A00053
Obviously, its pretty rough, but it works, and it screams.
When I got it (chassis only), it had been neglected for years and was a mess. It needed a full cap job, new 3 prong cable, fuse holder, a few of the pots replaced, 1 input jack, the rectifier socket, and little bit of wiring cleanup work.

Available is a 1958 Gibson ES-225 vintage guitar in a classic Sunburst finish. I purchased the guitar about 25 years ago in stripped condition without parts. Structurally, it's in great condition with minimal lacquer finish checking. The neck shows no signs of breaks. For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. It was originally sunburst which is still some there in the pickup Calverty. Both the Neck and Body pencil dates are present, the pickguard is a replacement - I don't know if its Fender made.

It has the earliest serial number I??ve seen on a double cutaway Les Paul Junior
The pick up may have been rewound as the solder joint looks re-done. The pots have 1957 date codes
