This Gibson ES-225 TDN (T=thinline, D=Dual pickup, N=Natural finish) is one of just 223 shipped in 1958. It features a body made of laminated maple which has light flame and blister figuring. The neck is mahogany with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.

This is a 1958 5F8 Tweed Twin chassis. Serial #A00053
Obviously, its pretty rough, but it works, and it screams.
When I got it (chassis only), it had been neglected for years and was a mess. It needed a full cap job, new 3 prong cable, fuse holder, a few of the pots replaced, 1 input jack, the rectifier socket, and little bit of wiring cleanup work.

For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. It was originally sunburst which is still some there in the pickup Calverty. Both the Neck and Body pencil dates are present, the pickguard is a replacement - I don't know if its Fender made.

Hadn't played for a number of years but plugged in and working Then the sound cut out and intermitently came back on. I have isolated the problem to one of the valve holders (ecc83 valve) which needs to be replaced. With some careful jiggling about, you can play with out problems but not worth the hassle as any movements will cut the sound out again and not good for the amp. So I have to sell as not working

It has a lovely blonde original finish and is in a great condition with a

Great original guitar from the golden era! Finish checking as expected but in really good condition with not much playing wear that I can see! Sounds lovely and resonant and is addictive to play, you can really appreciate why Gibsons from this period have the reputation they do. Has the original non-Gibson case. Hofner Senator
This Hofner Senator was made in the Hofner factory in Germany in 1958
It has a lovely blonde original finish and is in a great condition with a
straight neck and a nice low action. (The photos of the back of the guitar
appear to be lighter than the front, but actually both are exactly the same)
At sometimes in the past the old tuners were replaced for very nice Klusons
