This is a 1958 5F8 Tweed Twin chassis. Serial #A00053
Obviously, its pretty rough, but it works, and it screams.
When I got it (chassis only), it had been neglected for years and was a mess. It needed a full cap job, new 3 prong cable, fuse holder, a few of the pots replaced, 1 input jack, the rectifier socket, and little bit of wiring cleanup work.

Available is a 1958 Gibson ES-225 vintage guitar in a classic Sunburst finish. I purchased the guitar about 25 years ago in stripped condition without parts. Structurally, it's in great condition with minimal lacquer finish checking. The neck shows no signs of breaks. Original vintage late 50's Gibson Les Paul Standard wiring harness. Hard to find. Original unbroken solder joints. Original bumble bee caps and Centralab 500K pots. Please note: 3 pots have the same code 134839 and the other pot is 134734, so I'm calling this a late 1958 or early 1959 harness. For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. It was originally sunburst which is still some there in the pickup Calverty. Both the Neck and Body pencil dates are present, the pickguard is a replacement - I don't know if its Fender made.
