Up for sale is a TRUE 1958 Gibson J-200. This is not a remake, it is one of only 80 Gibson J-200's made in 1958. I have contacted Gibson and they have authenticated this guitar. These guitars are magical. The p90 is the best one I ever heard. Frets are original and still payable but if your going to tour with this I would refrett. This is a 1958 5F8 Tweed Twin chassis. Serial #A00053
Obviously, its pretty rough, but it works, and it screams.
When I got it (chassis only), it had been neglected for years and was a mess. It needed a full cap job, new 3 prong cable, fuse holder, a few of the pots replaced, 1 input jack, the rectifier socket, and little bit of wiring cleanup work.

This guitar shows signs of play wear and age throughout including some dings, scratches, forearm wear, finish wear on the back of the neck, and some pitting of the chrome plating on the bridge. For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. It was originally sunburst which is still some there in the pickup Calverty. Both the Neck and Body pencil dates are present, the pickguard is a replacement - I don't know if its Fender made.
