Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1960's Ampeg SSB-1 short-scale bass. This is the earliest version made with a serial number of #0100 which was the starting serial number for all Ampeg basses, making this the first Ampeg electric bass made. Almost all of the other SSB series basses were solid bodies where this version has F-holes and only a few were made. It has a great playing neck with great frets. This vintage guitar is a Storage Unit find and is being sold exactly as I found it. AS IS
The headstock has a chip on the tip of the wood. The pickguard was likely replaced, as it does not have a name or logo on it, and it is missing three screws. One of the strings is a different gauge / size than the others
