This is original Fender grill cloth was cut to the following size (19 5" Wide by 9 5" Tall) from a master bolt remnant that I had purchased back in the mid 1990's from a a smokey old timey music store and the good news is that after all these years there is no cigarette odor or any other for that matter, rest assured. Here we have a vintage Fender Reverb from 1963! This one features a blonde tolex wrap with a wheat grill and a flat logo. It is in very good condition, having survived nicely all of these years. Here we have a vintage Fender Pro Reverb tube amplifier from 1971! This one sports dual 12" Fender speakers and has 6L6 power tubes. It has two channels with dual inputs, bright switches, and volume / treble / bass controls for each channel. It has on board reverb and tremolo as well. This is a 1958 5F8 Tweed Twin chassis. Serial #A00053
Obviously, its pretty rough, but it works, and it screams.
When I got it (chassis only), it had been neglected for years and was a mess. It needed a full cap job, new 3 prong cable, fuse holder, a few of the pots replaced, 1 input jack, the rectifier socket, and little bit of wiring cleanup work.

A lovely example without any circuit tampering, which is very rare nowadays. Upgraded with 2x10?? Eminence Legend speakers and well maintained as the second owner spanning some 10 years or so. Essentially identical to its contemporary Vibroverb counterpart, but better voiced (in my opinion) and excellent when cranked!

How often does a Tweed Fender come for sale in the UK!? This beautiful 1955 Fender Harvard is a really early example, dating to 1955. It's the 5F10 circuit, so think Steve Cropper. 1965 (December) Fender Bandmaster 40W guitar amp head, with double input step-down transformer (USA 110V) for Australian 240V at the wall plug, and vintage replica tremolo foot switch which i bought and has correct RCA type connection to plug. Note: Having this separate step-down transformer will stop any power surges / drops damaging the amp
Valves: 2 x 6L6 valves are Sovtek, and 3 x 12AX7's are GrooveTubes, plus 1 x AX7 just says 'japan', these were ok'ed by Andrew Kay (see pics); ... more
