Vintage guitars for sale: Leeds

My beloved Flying V needs a new home. Bought from a renowned local musician late 80's early 90's who then spent many years trying to get me to sell it back to him. I played 100's of gigs with this incredibly sounding and versatile guitar and lovingly looked after it over the years. The only real things to note if you're bothered with such things is the worn finish on the rear and the crack in the point of the scratch plate where the screw was too tight. Immaculate condition for its age. No dings or buckle rash. Shines and rings like a bell. Will struggle to find one in as good condition for age. Beautiful slim neck for easy handing. Gibson logo humbuckers. Original case (with slight edge piece missing as shown - doesn't effect function).

I bought this bass last year, and although it's a fantastic instrument, I bought it because of my love of The Police, not my need for yet another P Bass

1963 Guild T-100D Slim Jim Archtop Guitar with bigsby / Guildsby
Very good condition for 60+ years old guitar. Does have some buckle rash and laquer checking and laquer has mostly worn from the back of the neck due to play wear (see pictures)

Greco EG-900

A stunning single cut from the East. Greco were really coming into their own by the late 70's, the Fujigen factory were making some of the best guitars in the world (completely by hand we might add) and wiping the floor with their American counterparts.

The upper end of the Catalog featured some really great instruments, including our EG-900. A full fat Les Paul sporting Dimarzio PAF pickups from the factory for super chunky tones!

Greco RB-700
A killer Ric style bass from Greco. The Japanese didn't just make Les Paul and Strat copies you know? If it was an American instrument, chances are Greco made a version of it! They knew what they were doing too, If you changed the TRC, chances are 90% of the population would be hoodwinked! We wouldn't recommend that however, look how amazing that font is!?

An absolutely awesome piece of history! John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison all played these guitars at the start of their careers, and they??re great guitars today too!

Teisco EP-11
It doesn't get much cooler than this. Behold our 1950's EP-11 'Guiter' from Teisco! This is one of the earliest Electric guitars produced in Japan, built at the legendary Maruha Gakki factory in the mid to late 50's (exact dating impossible). The EP-11 was produced alongside a whole range of Archtops with slightly different specs, some had 2 pickups, some had different hardware, different F holes but they were all pretty similar.

Fernandes BSV-55
A killer V from Fernandes! We're big fans of old Japanese Fernandes guitars and they were producing some killer examples in the 80's. It doesn't get much more 80's than a Purple Sparkle Flying V does it?
Much more than a show pony however, this old V kicks out a great racket from its pair of high output humbuckers and the neck is a lovely piece of Maple that's great to glide around on. And did we mention that it's Sparkly and Purple?

A lovely vintage thumper. Part of the Contemporary line of guitars and basses introduced by Fender Japan in 1983, this PJ-555 is about the most red bass guitar we've ever seen. In many ways the PJ-555 was the pre-curser to the Fender Jazz Bass Special introduced a year or so later, albeit with a Squier decal instead of a Fender one. A killer late 80's Aria Pro II. By the end of the 80's Aria Pro II switched some of it's production from the Matsumoku factory to Tokai Gakki - these Tokai built Aria's were only sold domestically in Japan and are generally slept on by the Japanese guitar enthusiasts

Zep II Custom Super Strat
A little bit of an oddity here for you. ZEP-II Custom guitars were made by ESP in the 80's - they have a Jackson / Charvel flair to them and were probably made to eat into Jackson / Charvels market share! There's not a tonne of info on these around (this HSS model particular) but it's quite the unusual shredder. Yamaha FG-201
A beautiful vintage dread from Yamaha. I've been beating the drum about old Yamaha FG's forever, and no matter how many we get in our hands they always deliver.
