1983 Rickenbacker 4003 Bass in near mint condition. Other than a small nick on the back of the neck this bass is basically flawless. It has also never been altered from it's original form, including no holes drilled to fit non-original tuners. What you're looking at here is an ultra-rare double-bound Rickenbacker 4005 WB in natural Maple. I believe they call this "Mapleglo " ? It is basically the gloss varnished wood finish

This bass plays and sounds like what it is, an icon of the bass world! It is the best I have ever played with its stereo output to really scope your tone and that classic Ricky sound that is so distinctive. In June 1981, this Rickenbacker 4005 was resprayed from its factory finish to Autumn Glow. Purchased new in 1982 from A & D Music, Wangaratta, it has had one original owner. Electronics remain untouched and original. The bass shows some fingerboard checking, minor cracks in the fret markers, and a couple of knocks on the front, but overall it looks and plays beautifully for a 44-year-old instrument
