Vintage guitars for sale: Epiphone Wilshire

What we have here is an extremely rare example of an orginal Matsumoko built Epiphone Crestwood Wilshire ET-290N. Note that If the Epiphonewiki website info is correct, these models are Wilshires, built between 1975 and 1979.
The bad:

Produced by the Matsumoku factory in Japan, this uncommon iteration of the Wilshire was only available for a few short years in the latter half of the 1970s. Up for sale is a 1964 Epiphone Wilshire in its original Cherry finish. Ive always been partial to this model. This is an example from later in '64 judging by the skinny nut width. This one comes to us from the previous owner in very good condition but with a few notes. At one point someone swapped the tuners for a set of Schallers. These work great and the originals are not present. In addition the Maestro arm was removed and is missing. All that being said this one sets up and plays great. ... more
