Here??s a player grade 1975 Fender P Bass. Its had several mods over the years. The pickups were swapped out for a set of what looks like Dimarzios, Its had an added J bass bridge pickup, the tuners have been swapped out for Shallers and the bridge is a Badass bridge. For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. 1977 (possibly 1978) Fender P Precision Bass Fretless Neck with original tuners.

Overall the neck is in decent condition, particularly the fretboard itself is fantastic. There are some chips in the lacquer around the heel (pictured) and the headstock has its fair share of cosmetic scuffs and dings.

I bought this bass at auction unseen with the idea I could easily have it fretted I was wrong and then I got thinking it would be a shame and possible sacrilege to do so. What I wasn't expecting was the originality and the fantastic condition. It plays, feels and sounds great and a part from some buckle scratches on the back, and a small dint near the bridge, which are just visible in the pictures, it's very clean.
