Nice piece of fairly lightweight three-piece Ash body. Serial number is 634290

One owner for the last 50 years ?? Me!
This is ?my baby?? which I??ve reluctantly decided needs to be sold and played again before I die and the kids give it away !

Not a copy or a reproduction but a genuine, USA made 1962 Fender Precision Bass in remarkable condition for the age
Not that the (completely) original scratch plate is not split or broken in any way - although it has experienced some mild warping over the decades.
The condition of the frets & neck is remarkable. I believe the guitar has always had round wound strings fitted - hence the lack of fret wear

Fender Precision, olympic white, made in USA 1978. If you're going to buy a P, why not do it properly, right? This creamy character has seen a few things over the decades, but it's aged pretty gracefully overall.
