Here's a lovely old 1969 Yamaha FG-75, red label, Nippon Gakki, made in Japan. This one came to me in need of an overhaul, and it's since had one. I replaced the tuners, added a pickguard, replaced the headstock decal, made a new saddle, cleaned it, and set it up. It's now playing beautifully with moderate action, a bit of room left on the saddle and a working truss rod. There are various cosmetic blemishes such as scratches, dings, and pick rash, as shown

This is a vintage all original Yamaha FG-160 Nippon Gakki acoustic guitar that was made in Japan in 1973. It has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides along with new D'Addario EJ16 phosphor bronze light gauge strings. Considering the age of the guitar, it is still structurally in good shape and capable of producing a uniquely aged sound. Plays and sounds great, but has a few issues. There's a small hole in the lower bout near the bottom strap button. There's some wood splintered from the inside of the slotted headstock. There's wear in the fretboard in 1st position. Frets also have some wear, but life left. Other than that, the neck is straight, truss turns, action is good. New D'Addarios. Tuned to Eb standard. These were made as a close copy to the famous Gibson SG. Not sure of exact year. Estimate 90's to early 2000's 
22 fret Neck is straight and secure. Action feels great. Intonation was set and it's ready to jam.

Its in good vintage condition and plays fairly well although it could do with new strings. It has a couple of scratches with age. Theres some paint residue on the back but could be removed. Also the neck is slightly worn underneath with age and playing wear. See pics

1974 SG45 in very used condition . the pickups have been changed, there were holes in the top (by the controls) which have been filled in, and the head had a twist split at some point which has been glued. The good points are original tailpiece, knobs, tuners and plates, and the frets are in decent shape so it is nice to play. The electrics work although the tone controls don't change very much. Beautiful and historic 1967-1972 made in Japan Yamaha hollowbody electric guitar. Top of the range SA-50 model (others were SA-30 and SA-20). Upmarket fretboard and headstock inlays. Sounds great and has low action. NEEDS A SERVICE AS NECK PICKUP HAS LOST CONTACT. Currently only the bridge pickup is working. Seems to just be a loose wire. No major damage or severe fret-wear.
Overall very pretty, with the cosmetic flaws of a relic. Missing vibrato bar.... more
