Here we have a vintage 1973 WEM Westminster 15 tube combo amplifier! This is a 1x12" amp with 15 watts that is in excellent condition. It has two inputs with a treble boost switch, volume and bass controls plus a treble control that also turns the amp off. It has a 3 prong US power plug but appears to still be a 220 voltage amplifier. The exterior is in fantastic shape and the amp appears to be in good working order. Please review interior shots

Here we have a nice sounding Watkins Clubman! This is a 240v British unit with a Type G plug. It's from the mid to late 50's and sports a red and white polka dot wrap with an art deco face. It has dual inputs as well as volume and tone controls. It has a single 8" speaker and has about 4 watts of power. It's in very good condition overall and good functioning order. We recommend a Tacima Autotransformer step down converter if you plan on using this in the US

This is a very rare Wem Sapphire amp, only produced in small quantities in 1967. The only reference I can find for it is a scan of the entry in the 67 Wem catalogue. I bought it off a chap whose Dad had acquired it from Mameloks in Manchester, the sticker is still on it! this is an unmolested wem clubman, all original apart from a JJ EL84 valve. no modifications or restoration has been done, amplifier is working just as it should and even with the 50 year old capacitors there is very little noise or hum. its amazingly loud for 5 watts, original speaker too. and the pots and sockets are in ok condition too
please note as with any 50 year old valve amp a service is advised capacitors and resistors can all drift and vary in spec with age, but it is running ... more

these are just over an inch wide and are nice and heavy not cheap like the later knobs in this style

Here we have my dads old watkins dominator bass mk1, a classic british tube amp made from 1972 to late 70s
we've owned this one for about 30 years. it's always been a bit crackly so was only lightly used as a static practice amp, however the hum hiss and crackle has got worse over the years due to dust and lack of maintenance so it's time to hopefully find someone to revive and enjoy it

Vintage early seventies strap handle
Made in west Germany, slightly different design to the normal strap handle that all the usual suspect used
The usual wear it is however fully functional
I have seen these used on WEM copicats, Park heads and also on some CMI(Marshall) stuff

So here's an oddity. This is a WEM Songbird dedicated Accordion Combo Amp.
It's a full range map with 4 input channels and  a built in spring reverb unit
It's working and comes great (see video) but it needs some contact lube as the pots are crackly and dusty
This is a very heavy amp so you'll need to arrange collection or come and pick it up yourself

Here we have an wem westminster solid state amp I have plugged it in and turned it on and played a guitar through the amp and it produces sound the volume button I had to tap on it for the sound to come through as it should. iam assuming by the style this is 60s 70s but I can't find another one anywhere to gage age wattage value etc
Whoever buys this would need to take it for a service etc to make sure it's running properly as I'm not sure what it should sound like

Originally designed by WEM as a bass amp but favoured by guitarists for the extra low end afforded by the 15?? speaker.
I??ve recently re-tubed this with original mullard EL84s and it sounds immense! Worth noting with this amp the original circuit requires you to use vintage rather than modern EL84s.
Famously used by Noel Gallagher on the early Oasis stuff and by Dylan Carlson on a recent Earth live album named after the amp!

Hi friends! i'm looking to sell my SUPER RARE 1950s Watkins Westminster Guitar Amp (Possibly 1958).

Beautiful WEM 15 watt tube amp, loud! for the size of it, this can easily keep up with a drummer. Lovely creamy clean tone at lower volumes and breaks up nicely when pushed, very cool bit of British engineering
Dates as 1973 I believe. I think im the third owner based on what guy I got it off told me

This is a wonderful original Elac 10N / 83 speaker, as used in Vox AC10 and Watkins V Front amplifiers, dating to 1964. Wem dominator 25 from 1970s
The model 25 is the same as the mk3 that was used by noel gallagher in oasis. Its a 17w amp using el34 valves and this one has a 12" g1265 speaker
