Wilson and Sons Classical guitar in hardshell case - Made in Japan - Project
This item is a very neat old classical guitar that was made in Japan by Wilson and Sons way back in 1968. This is a model JT-1 and it carries the serial number 2-13. Wilson and Sons was from City of Industry California.
The guitar is in very good condition except for the bridge, which is lifting pretty badly and will need to be repaired or replaced. Because of that we are selling it as-is and shown.

For sale is a Vintage Watkins Copicat MKIl tube tape delay echo effects unit made for Guild guitars

Condition: NONFUNCTIONING

The tape echo unit is old and requires some repair or great for parts. There is a split or crack along one side of the casing see picture eleven. The unit powers on and the motor does need a little push to get the tape to spin. The main issue with the echo unit is that the delay tape heads 1 and 2 don't seem to repeat, tape head 3 does repeat. ... more

Watkins Rapier 44 electric guitar made in England in roughly 1964. The guitar shows signs of its age but has no major damage. It has been worked on and set up by a professional luthier. So here's an oddity. This is a WEM Songbird dedicated Accordion Combo Amp.
It's a full range map with 4 input channels and  a built in spring reverb unit
It's working and comes great (see video) but it needs some contact lube as the pots are crackly and dusty
This is a very heavy amp so you'll need to arrange collection or come and pick it up yourself

The tape heads are pretty worn on this unit, causing the echo to sound distorted and inconsistent, therefore selling as spares / repair. Here we have an wem westminster solid state amp I have plugged it in and turned it on and played a guitar through the amp and it produces sound the volume button I had to tap on it for the sound to come through as it should. iam assuming by the style this is 60s 70s but I can't find another one anywhere to gage age wattage value etc

Here we have my dads old watkins dominator bass mk1, a classic british tube amp made from 1972 to late 70s
we've owned this one for about 30 years. it's always been a bit crackly so was only lightly used as a static practice amp, however the hum hiss and crackle has got worse over the years due to dust and lack of maintenance so it's time to hopefully find someone to revive and enjoy it

Serial 1634 so an early production version, set neck with 3 single coil pickups
Its a little tired condition wise but a good chance for an afffordable 60s vintage guitar. Its just had a fret dress and some small attention to the nut and new strings fitted.
The lacquer is very checked all over and the tuners are obvious replacements with the top E tuners corner modified to follow the shape of the headstock. Not ... more

For sale is a Watkins Rapier guitar I don't know the exact year but It's around 1961 / 1962 as it is an early model without a truss rod.
All pickups and controls work fine, and the vibrato arm is all good.
The action is a little on the high side but that is because of the neck not having a truss rod though is still playable.
Otherwise its all pretty clean.

For Sale is my old Wem Dominator 45 Bass amp from around 1978 / 9. It's all valve with X3 ECC83 valves (which I think are JJ) and X4 EL84 valves which I upgraded to EL84-Cz TAD PREMIUM Matched, in around 2009. I also upgraded the desintergrated celestion speaker that it came out of the factory with an Eminence Delta (still the 15" variety). Hard-to-find vintage Watkins Rapier electric guitar, marked "Horizon B" on the headstock
This is a rare British guitar with cool vintage character.
It appears to have been repainted at some point, and there is a visible body seam / split down the middle from a past repair
There is also a split at the end of the headstock, and the tuners are very rusty and will likely need replacement or restoration

It's hard to let this one go!
It's pretty scuffed on the suitcase exterior, and it's due a clean of the heads (I'm still using it as it is though and sounds great!)
I have modded the foot-switch to give a full-wet output (not something that comes stock), but I've kept the foot switch in case you'd like to swap it back. So there's one output that you can control the mix of, and another that is full wet. I also have some new tape that you can have!

Very good condition for its age. Has been in storage for approx 15 years but was serviced just before then.
These amps are still being used by top bands for gigs and recordings, real vintage valve sound!

Just as a foreword to this restored guitar, if you're a Rapier guitar collector, then don't read any further, since this has been returned to its former glory and hence the original paintwork and varnished neck. Your search is for one that has the patenna of a cracked, chipped and split finish. However, if you want a Rapier that looks as good as it plays, then this might just be for you. Note the rarer switching arrangement (similar to the "44 " )

This is an original vintage Watkins Copicat tape delay
The unit is being sold as is. It turns on and runs ok. However the unit is clearly quite a way outside its specifications. The wow and flutter is pretty extreme. The whole thing needs a lot of refurbishment to get it running right. It still sounds pretty cool though

This machine has had a modification to provide a Send Return (echo output only) for use in a studio environment with a mixing desk
The audio output cable from the internal circuitry is still present, as is the footswitch
The unit runs on 240v and has a UK mains plug fitted
