Vintage Wilson guitar, all original.
I couldn??t find much about the model, or about bell, if you have any info please let me know, I??d appreciate that. Till then, I assume it is a rare model made by Wilson for the Bell brand.

It is a beautiful, compact 7 / 8 scale guitar, very light and comfortable. Made with solid wood, and with really good quality parts. Very nice condition

Wilson SAF-II Electric guitar. Vintage made in the 60??s / early 70??s in England
It has old German parts made by Schaller (I??ve seen the pickups and bridge in a Schaller catalog, and they were used in a lot of German guitars back in the day)

It had a bit of a paint touch-up on the black borders, it looks amazing
It is in amazing condition, very difficult to find any blemishes.

Watkins rapier 33 vintage electric guitar
Made in England in the 1960??s era, perhaps early 70??s.

It??s all original, except for the tuners, they were replaced.
All electronics working.
The neck is a bit bent, it is still playable, but the action is quite high.
The paint was coming off at the union of two pieces of the body, this was covered with some paint, which didn??t make it look much better. The body is not breaking or anything

USED Watkins Rapier 33 made in 1966
Summary:
Here we have a very charming 60 year old guitar made by Watkins in 1966. This guitar was purchased in early 1967 and was put into storage in 1970. So it is in excellent condition for the age and has all the vintage charm and idiosyncrasies you would come to expect from these guitars. The guitar has a set of toaster pickups which were only fitted between 1964-1968

Selling here as a project , spares / repairs - no returns
Serial 1634 so an early production version, set neck.
It's a little tired condition wise ,the lacquer is very checked all over and there are many marks , scuffs , indents and ageing
It did play pretty well before I decided to part it out so it maybe a fairly easy project for someone to get up and running

The guitar presents really well, with a strong red finish and attractive, honest age-related wear
There are light surface marks and pickguard wear consistent with a mid-1960s instrument, but nothing off-putting or structural

Has various marks to the body and neck, and small chip from top of fretboard as pictured. Electrics a bit temperemental. Could use some TLC. Reflected in price - rare guitar!

This is a Watkins Rapier 44 made pre 1964
It carries serial number 12197
Made in England
Comes complete with the original toaster pickups and pots, all still working although pickup 3 is a little quiet
The original paintwork is showing its age, like all of these do. The bridge and trem are a little road worn, which could be re chromed if that is your taste, but I like them as they are
