Here we have a vintage 1965 Vox AC50 tube amplifier head! This one is in very good condition overall and good functioning order. It is serial number 2220, manufactured in England by JMI. The grille cloth has some tears, but the tolex and handle are in fairly good shape. This gray panel amp has two channels with two inputs per channel, along with volume, treble and bass controls. The AC50 was developed specifically for the Beatles so fans could hear them better live. The two EL34s produce around 50 watts. Both channels feature the "Top Boost" circuit. It shows some dirt in the corners and down in the crevices of the tolex. There are some tears along the vents on the top and other signs of age and use across the amp. For sale / auction is an original 1966 VOX BERKELEY 2 SUPER TWIN REVERB all tube amplifier. it has the original 2 10" VOX BULLDOG speakers which are in great condition. I have just had the head serviced by FUCHS AUDIO TECHNOLOGY so its really sounding sweet. I have kept the replaced parts in case you want them. Here is a cool vintage 1965 Vox AC50 tube amplifier head! This one is in very good condition overall and good functioning order. It is serial number 05359, made in England by JMI. The amp shows some dirt down in the texture of the covering as well as in the corners. There are some light tears and other signs of age and use, but has survived quite well. I think that this is a 1969 Vox AC30 - I purchased it in Dublin 1978-1982. It had previously been owned by a session musician. It has silicon diodes soldered across the back of the rectifier socket and has the T1088 'Bulldog' speakers - these are described in 'voxac30 org uk' as:
