Tested, works, sounded great.
No markings anywhere on the speaker except 40 W on the back part of the speaker as shown in picture three. So, it is either an original Univox speaker or a replacement speaker. Since this had dual 12" speakers and they are both the same, I believe it to be a Univox original.

Correct spec for any vox post 1966( as these have 2 pins on each corne), these were also used by Orange and a few other manufacturers, Matamp, Kelly, Selmer etc etc
4 are in great condition as they were on the top of the combo, the 4 that are a little rougher that were on the bottom

JMI Vox AC30 Top Boost from late 1964 (according to date codes on the capacitors and output transformer). I've had a fair few 60's AC30s and this was by far and away my favourite one
Serviced by Stephen Grosvenor in 2019 it's in remarkably good condition for its 60+ years of age. If you don't know who Stephen Grosvenor is, he's THE Vox tech in the UK. He actually wrote a book on servicing vintage Vox amps and is the only person I trust to do the work

Vintage Vox T60 Bass Amplifier Head - 1960s. I bought it in 2007. It had a full service done when I bought it and has never been used since then. It was in full working order when I bought it in 2007. I've been waiting for nearly 20 years to find a matching speaker cab and never found one . Excellent cosmetic condition (see photos) pretty amazing for a 60 year old amp).

The cones move freely and they have no issues, Alnico speakers with their original cones are RARE, most of them didn't survive the sixties and the onset of 100w amplifiers!

Der Zustand istaltersentsprechend gut, man hat nach so vielen Jahren ein paar Dings und Dongsim Tolex aber nichts Gravierendes. I will be sad to see this go but it??s time to move it to a new home. It??s not seen much use over the last couple of years. The amp was serviced about 5 years ago by guitar aid in London but is probably due another to ensure it??s all working as it should.

rare to find a matching set from the early sixties, you know the drill, they break, get lost or are replaced .
These are bakelite and from 1963, complete with their grub screws, unsure of the maker, they look like Bulgins to me though

I have acquired this lovely Vox AC30 amp from the sixties. Don??t know much about its past.
A friend who knows about amps said it was from 1964 / 1965 period
Obviously has some signs of wear for its age but it in working order.
Currently being serviced by a local amp expert, receipt will be included for proof.
