Added an "external speaker jack " . I did this to connect to "external speakers" to protect the original ones
Note the SWR Speaker cab below the Gretsch amp drives it just fine
The jack was soldered in but NO permanent mod so it is completely reversible

Here we have a cool Valco Chicago 51 amplifier branded Oahu! This low wattage 1x10 combo is in very good condition and good functioning order. It has seen service in recent years and has a modern 3 prong power cord. The chassis is a familiar unit, seen used across various brands, featured here in a white cabinet with cool art deco front. It has a very nice tube tone and looks great!

Two Airline pickup rings.

These two rings came off a mid 60s Airline Town & Country but will work for whatever you want to use them for as long as you have the awesome old Supro / Valco / Airline single coil pickups.

One of the rings had some glue work done. See the pics. You will NOT see the repair with a pickup installed.

This a vintage Valco Chicago 51 1 x 10 valve combo circa 1951-1957. Often branded as Supro, National or Oahu . I bought it about 15 years ago to use in studios for guitar or harmonica. It??s known for a very thick, rich and bluesy tone and sounds fantastic. It??s got real mojo (75 years old )and looks as well as it sounds. It??s about 15 watts , has 3 inputs ( treble, instruments, bass )and has volume and tone controls, it has 2 6v6 power valves, 5y3 rectifier, 6sc7 or 6sq7 preamp valves. ... more
