Northwest Vintage guitars brings you an uncommon find from 1982.  Tokai called this their "TSG50 1976 Refined Model" and it's easy to see why.  It looks and feels just like a 76 Gibson SG and Tokai wasn't hiding that. And the Solid Mahogany body and one piece Mahogany neck were better specs than Gibson was cranking out at the time.  They even threw in a volute and the SMALL open book headstock to round out the package

This is a 1980s Tokai Hard Puncher P Bass with a black finish. Post-lawsuit, Tokai was still making convincing and faithful recreations with the single caveat of a new headstock design. It has a comfortable C shaped maple neck with a rosewood board and its pickup is, well, super punchy. It's in great shape with some nicks and dings here and there. This is my beautiful Tokai Goldstar Sound that has had some massive upgrades. I think you would struggle to find anything with this spec at this sort of price. The pickups alone cost £300!
If you are looking here then you'll know the reputation these Japanese 80s Tokai's have. The downside on these original guitars is that the pickups are poor to average (depending on which model you have) and the electronics are not great either

I would say fair condition for a 40 year old guitar it has some marks and dints I had it refretted with jumbo frets as the frets were worn down when I got it I have the original tone and volume knobs too I'm selling because I want to raise funds for a nice acoustic I have listed it as collection only because I don't have a hard case to ship it but if you contact me I might be able to post it or I could meet half way within reason... more

For your consideration is a nice, great sounding Tokai TST-50 from the early 1980's.
This particular TST-50 model with its rosewood neck is Tokai's copy of a 1964 Stratocaster.
What follows below are various particulars:
There are nicks / marks on the body and neck but none of these are serious. The so called "player wear" mark on the body at the bevel was done by a previous owner (before myself) is not genuine player wear
