Selling my 1980s Tokai Breezy Sound ?? a beautiful vintage guitar that deserves to be played! I??m not entirely sure what colour this is, but I think it would probably class as a tobacco burst. It is absolutely stunning in person.
I bought it from RichTone Music in Sheffield about a year ago year ago, but it??s barely been touched since. It??s in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of age.

Pickguard and pickup covers have been changed but I still have the originals. I??ve also upgraded the pickups to a Monty??s 62 Stratocaster set, I can provide the original pickups if needed. There??s a couple of blemishes on this guitar which I??ve photographed. It??s been a fun guitar to have around but I??m making some room.

Here we have a nice quality Japanese solid top, made in 1976 by Tokai Gakki
Its in good shape for the year with a few cosmetic issues that make it 'player grade'
- slight haze in the lacquer on back and sides
- bit of discoloured binding / missing lacquer near heel
- serial number obscured in photo's, production year 1976
Otherwise structurally great, lots of adjustment room and supplied with a 'free' hard case suitable for shipping purposes

Here is a cool vintage 1981 Japanese Tokai LS-60 Love Rock Les Paul. Vintage Tokais (??78-??85) are our absolute favourite Japanese lawsuit style Japanese single-cuts here at GSG. This one is a real beauty with a rare tobacco burst finish (they are often bright tomato clownbursts ) There is even little birdseye in the top.
