This guitar is Suzuki's take on the D-41 / D-45 line up that Martin offers and they did a pretty darn good job at recreating the tone that you'd find on one of those super high end Martin guitars. Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a rare and very clean 1977 Suzuki W-200 Threes dreadnaught.  These Martinesque dreadnaughts were made in Nagoya where many fine makers had set up shop.  It features a Solid Spruce top, 3 ply back and sides, Rosewood fretboard and Abalone inlays.  It was a mashup of Martin specs and it featured the X Bracing and the Soft V neck carve to round out the package

1970's / 80's Nagoya Suzuki Japan SD335N Acoustic Guitar with non-original period hard case
Well used condition. Loads of scratches, dings, dents, evidence of previous repairs etc. The pickguard is starting to lift off the top
I've cleaned and polished the frets, treated the fingerboard with lemon oil, and fitted a brand new set of Martin Light 12-54 MA540 phosphor bronze strings. Check out the pics as they form part of the description. More pics available on request

These rare all maple dreadnoughts, with the abalone trim, were only exported to USA, branded 'Ventura' and probably made by Suzuki factory - in our opinion, even though all other sellers seem to be saying Matsumoku factory - yet they say that for all Japanese gear!
Regardless, we offer this at a lower than average asking price and its a really nice guitar

No label inside, but from the looks and feel I'm guessing it's a high quality 1970's Kiso Suzuki Japan cross between a GH250 and a Canyon W70. Body is almost identical to the Kiso-Suzuki 9513 12-string I've got listed. Whatever it is, it's clearly "inspired" by the Martin D41. Comes with a Hiscox hard case

Good used condition commensurate with age. A few scratches, dings, and dents but nothing serious. No sign of any previous repairs that I can make out.

Thunder guitars were manufactured by the Kiso Suzuki Violin company Japan in the 1970's. They produced copies of all your well known guitars and they did it well. The Thunder brand was a step above the cheap Tomson label and sat alongside the Suzuki label as a quality option. Well made and in fantastic condition for its age. A really good looking guitar! Nice quality Japanese built guitar from the late 1970s to early 1980s the Golden era for Japanese guitar making. Built by the Kiso Suzuki Violin Company it is a very decent stratocaster. American standard quality at half the price. Not much information on these as they were produced only for the Japanese domestic market so they are rare in the rest of the world.
