This is an original 1963 Supro Airline Bass Guitar survivor. It has the original pickup and the Piezo Bridge pickup, The electronics all work but need cleaned and serviced. I only took it apart to clean it and verify age and originality The neck is warped pretty good but a competent Luthier can straighten it. Here we have a fairly rare 1962 Supro model 1696T Combo all tube hand wired 1-15" amplifier. The amp is just in from storage and has been gone through by my amp technician of 38 years. UP FOR GRABS IS A VERY COOL AND RARE(RED COVERING) SUPRO S 6422 TR. THESE ARE ONE OF THE COOLEST SINGLE ENDED AMPS YOU CAN OWN. THEY FEATURE REVERB AND TREMOLO IN A VERY LOUD 6 WATT CONFIGURATION. POWERED BY ONE 6V6 THROUGH A 10 IN. JENSEN C10 R SPEAKER, THAT SOUNDS GREAT. Works and sounds great! Valco made and serviced with only a few filter caps changed. Original speaker reconed as well. Little light stain on bottoms left of grill cloth. Barely noticeable (see pics).
