This 1963 Supro Supreme 1600 R is a formidable ripping little beast. It has been serviced by Terry Dobbs aka 'Mr. Valco'. Terry surely knows the vintage Valcos and recommends this model as one to look for. All original transformers, the power is 5246248 and the output is 5246250. Tres cool Custom Kraft Ambassador single pickup electric, USA-made in 1960s, in a very Lake Placid-ish blue metallic. These were an amalgam of Kay and Valco parts and construction. This is an original 1963 Supro Airline Bass Guitar survivor. It has the original pickup and the Piezo Bridge pickup, The electronics all work but need cleaned and serviced. I only took it apart to clean it and verify age and originality The neck is warped pretty good but a competent Luthier can straighten it. Here we have a fairly rare 1962 Supro model 1696T Combo all tube hand wired 1-15" amplifier. The amp is just in from storage and has been gone through by my amp technician of 38 years.
