It's a solid body guitar with an aluminum bar that runs from the neck through body. It has a red tolex covering on the body and a white Lightning Bolt Silvertone logo on the headstock. The DeArmond ??hershey bar?? pickups have a very neat dynamic unlike many other pickups. They??re darker than the typical single coil, but are still capable of a tele-like twang in the bridge position. Good for blues, I think

I think this is s64h and I show a photo of that. Sort of hard to tell for sure.
This has a good ding / hole on back with missing wood. It feels fairly intact. Strings are not hight at the nut but as you move towards 12th fret the do get higher. I have it tuned open tuning for slide.

There is a number stamped in the body under the pick guard that has a 65 in so that??s about all I know. Kay Silvertone Speed Demon electric guitar knobs circa 1962. These were found on Kay Speed Demon guitars (1-3 pickups) and on Silvertone, Airline, and Truetone branded Kay guitars. These are black plastic knobs with a silver / chrome top and they push / slide onto the guitar pots. They're in clean but used condition. The chrome / metal piece on the top shows wear / rust

One of the most playable examples of these old MIJ guitars I've had my hands on. Low action all the way up the fretboard. Neck is straight (not 100% perfect, but really good for its age), frets are excellent, electronics are clean. New D'Addario 10s. Plenty of expected cosmetic wear throughout. Dings and scratches. Really nice early to mid-1950s Silvertone acoustic archtop. Solid spruce top, with maple back and sides. Looks to be the equivalent of a Harmony Broadway or Monterey. All original parts except tuners, which are 100% period-correct vintage parts. Excellent neck set and angle, and fretboard is perfectly flat (which is not always the case with older archtops). Excellent condition and amazing vintage tones. Old stock valves (RCA, Sylvania, Mullard). Replacement vintage Fane speaker - actually sounds very good in this amp despite looking somewhat out of place! It??s not original hence the lower price. This Silvertone is in good condition with (as far as I can tell) all original parts. Please refer to the photographs for your own appraisal. It was purchased from the USA a couple of years ago and had a full service and setup (as best as can be achieved with the original parts!) by a well regarded tech last year. Has some slight cosmetic imperfections that would be expected on a guitar of this age and has been touched up in a few places (see pics). The sunburst finish is beautiful!
