Here we have a great and rare amplifier - Last year of Treble N' Bass 50 Reverb
before going to silver face. These amps do sound incredible.
2x EL34 valves and the preamp valves are ECC83.
This amp has just been fully serviced by Jon Dickinson of

Here is my 1964 Selmer Constellation 2x12 amplifier , Croc Skin period , fully serviced and recapped by Mac Amps Leeds and had minimal studio use in the past two years . A Selmer Treble n Bass 50 amp with Selmer 'David' speaker cabinet. As can be seen from the photos both units are in nice clean, very original condition. Both units are in good working order. If you're a guitarist do not be put off by the 18" speaker, it is a full range driver that can also be used for PA use and so has a frequency response that easily accommodates an electric guitar - it does not lack 'top'. A very rare opportunity to purchase what is a 'Holy Grail' amp to many and also the identical model to that which Mark Knopfler played 'Sultans of Swing' on - a 1963 Fender Vibrolux
Fender produced these only between 1961-63, with the 'Brownface' series amps following the 'tweed' period, just before they started using black tolex. The very best, in my opinion.
The tube chart reads 'MJ', comfortably putting the date of manufacture as October 1963.

In good working order all channels are fine and all tones controls work as they should . The only problem it seems to have is the standby switch doesn??t do anything it lights up but doesn??t cut the volume out so the amp comes straight on when the main power switch is switched on .
