Up for sale is a vintage Rickenbacker 4001 bass made in 1976. Neck is fretless while I believe the finish made me a more rare autum glow versus the fire glow but I am not positive on this. Hello, You are looking at a rare 4001S Rick bass in mapleglo. The S stands for set neck. The Bass has a dot neck and mono output, no binding. The finish was removed from the fretboard at some point. There is a screw replaced in one of the tuners. This is by far the lightest Rick bass I have ever owned it weighs just over 8 lbs. It comes with an aftermarket hard shell case.
