Vintage guitars for sale: yairi

Here's an incredibly rare 1975 S. Yairi model No. 726 parlor guitar. Slot head, 12 fret, New Yorker style. Solid spruce top and some sources give the back and sides as solid mahogany too but I'm not so sure. Still unquestionably a premium build at the time compared to the typical Japanese laminate guitar. Br@zil rosewood body + abalone aplenty, following the Martin D-45 and in full trim!
Structurally + cosmetically above average at 50, all very good
Not easy to find in such comparably nice condition, to those of us looking in the UK, its near impossible to find a better one so grab she while you can!
Only adverse to mention are few areas of finish cloud, and capo marks to neck as shown in the photo's provided

Very good overall condition for age. Made in Japan. This is quite a collectable and rare model. Some surface indents and light scratching, but otherwise excellent. Action is moderate at 12th fret, not super-low, but there is enough saddle height to lower this somewhat if desired. Appears to have authentic signature. Frets not worn and in good condition.
