Last year for Matsumoku guitars, this 1987 Spectrum 2 showcases their build for a shredding superstrat guitar. Very low action and heavy metal tone Is just what the doctor ordered. A great player with several bumps and chips as shown in pics but just cosmetic. Very little fretwear on neck. Missing Allen wrenches, locking nut blocks and screws and no trem arm. Weighs in at 8 5lbs. Plays out nicely. Comes with rough OHSC but protects guitar.

Very nice Japanese made vintage electric guitar, Matsumoku factory, 1984 sorta time. Been competently stained and refinished at some point a fairly long time ago, and worn in subsequently. Stock MMK pickups with coil splits on the toggles. Fingerboard freshly oiled, frets freshly polished, takes a low action great. Current amp demo guitar, probably be sorry to see it go, but I'm a bass player

Vintage 1980??s Westone electric guitar in burgundy. Very cool rare design. Great patina as it was used as a gig guitar for many years. Works (can be demonstrated) but is starting to show its age so could do with some tlc or a recommision.

For sale is a rare set of original 1980s era Matsumoku Japan toggle switch parts, as fitted to their Westone branded electric guitars of the period
Included is an original black flat top / barrel switch tip in black plastic with the larger metric threading used by MIJ guitars, plus an original E-clip and threaded ?deep nut?? in aged nickel finish

This shape of switch tip hardly ever come up for sale, and they were never manufactured??

Neck and bridge have 48 and 50mm string spacing and DCRs of 6 28 K ohms and 6 4 K ohms respectively
There's also a red lead for coil tapping
Lead lengths are approx 240mm for the bridge and 270mm for the neck
In spite of being low output humbuckers, properly height adjusted they sound very sweet, lacking the muddiness that more pokey humbuckers tend to suffer from

Incredibly versatile guitar made in the legendary Matsumoku factory in Japan. This was the top of the Spectrum range. Comes with string locks and original whammy bar. A few small scratches and dings as you??d expect but only noticeable flaws are two small holes by the bridge where a Roland thingy was fitted then removed and some paintloss on the head (see photos)

This is a great bass to play. If I could, I'd keep it, but needs must
Plays well without the active circuit, but adding a couple of 9v batteries (not included) allows the player to access a new range of sounds. Having the active circuit powered is not necessary to produce a good bass sound, but it is fun to use now and then for a little variation
The build is rock solid. You could do a lot worse going out and buying a cheap new bass, or even one for around £500 in my honest opinion ... more
