Wonderful playing and sounding danelectro bass. Fully functional and all original except one pickguard screw and possibly a strap button. This guitar has a decent bit of wear that makes for a great patina. The three way switch is a little touchy, and sometimes it needs to be wiggled or pushed in to make proper contact with the position its in. Lovely vintage 1978 made in USA Fender Musicmaster short scale bass guitar. As you can see from the photos it is well loved but plays and sounds beautiful. Currently string with Labella flats and has an aftermarket 4 pole pickup that sounds very full and more P like than the weaker guitar pickup these would have came with.

This Encore Bass is not quite what it seems .It may have Encore written on the Headstock but the body parts of the Guitar are in fact Japanese made in the late 1970's by the same factories that made Jedson's and then put together in the early 80's, giving it that Matsumoko look inspired by a 60's Burns!

1976 HOYER EB BASS -- made in GERMANY -- FRETLESS :
