Vintage guitars for sale: short scale bass

Bass has some finish cracks all over the body. See pic 4, I??ve tried to capture it. Very common for its age. No major blemishes, but not mint condition. Mute still works great, all original pickups still sound like they did in the 60s.

I have the original case, but it wasn??t easily accessible at the time of posting. I may have updated or would be happy to add pics if a serious buyer wants them. Case is in rugged condition.

This Encore Bass is not quite what it seems .It may have Encore written on the Headstock but the body parts of the Guitar are in fact Japanese made in the late 1970's by the same factories that made Jedson's and then put together in the early 80's, giving it that Matsumoko look inspired by a 60's Burns!
Its a shortscale bass and with a Curvy Sounds Set up, it is now playing so beautifully, with a sweet full voice that makes the high notes ring out as sweet as the low bass notes boom!

Here we have a real blast from the past - a 1960s or 70s short scale bass with lots of history and mojo!
Good condition for its age, clearly has been played and enjoyed but when I got it had been sat for a while. It plays pretty well but could certainly do with a good setup and some more playing.
