Original Selmer case for Hofner Guitar, Mid-Late 50's. Not sure which model Hofner guitar, but the measurements are 43" long, 17" across and 4 1 / 2" deep. Case has Tolex wear on rear bout, both top and bottom, and a few spots elsewhere, but overall for it's age not too bad. All latches work, original handle. There were a few areas where the wood seam was separating, I was able to repair them with Wood glue and clamps, problem solved. No more separation in the seams.... more

Lovely vintage archtop acoustic guitar, my understanding is that the Triumph was made in Germany in the 1950s by Hofner and Framus and imported by Selmer London. Paul McCartney had one of these.
This guitar has had a life as a left-hander for a long time and there are holes in the body where it was converted, as well as damage to the veneer (see photos) and some of the machine heads are tight. Ideally, it could do with some TLC from a luthier

Offered here is a super clean original sixties Selmer guitar strap, *exactly* like the one John Lennon used in the early sixties, including on the legendary Ed Sullivan appearance. There seems to be a thriving market in repros, but if you want the original - here you go!

A very rare opportunity to purchase what is a 'Holy Grail' amp to many and also the identical model to that which Mark Knopfler played 'Sultans of Swing' on - a 1963 Fender Vibrolux
Fender produced these only between 1961-63, with the 'Brownface' series amps following the 'tweed' period, just before they started using black tolex. The very best, in my opinion.
The tube chart reads 'MJ', comfortably putting the date of manufacture as October 1963.

A Selmer Treble n Bass 50 amp with Selmer 'David' speaker cabinet. As can be seen from the photos both units are in nice clean, very original condition. Both units are in good working order. If you're a guitarist do not be put off by the 18" speaker, it is a full range driver that can also be used for PA use and so has a frequency response that easily accommodates an electric guitar - it does not lack 'top'.
